A great place for diner...chatting with the owner..Justin...revealed he only uses fresh (not previously frozen) foods...so the menu is constantly changing...ie he could not get fresh cod..so no cod on the menu tonight...I heard about the restaurant from other travellers...word of mouth, seems to work.

His muscles (moules) in a cream, pesto, balsamic sauce were delicious..steaks and other mains looked generous and well presented

Went here for lunch today and wow! This is not your typical Newfoundland restaurant. The flavors and food is amazing. Id have mussels many times and in many place in the world and these by far are the best I have eaten. The chefs creation of sauces and pairing of ingredients is magnificent. I will definitely be back.

We're ruined for life, the Mussel dish is the best anywhere.
I don't think I can ever eat them again without being disappointed unless we fly back in to Justin's place.
The culinary bar of excellence has been set somewhere in orbit!

A wonderful spot to eat. The owners have done a marvelous job in designing a restaurant that diverges from the standard Newfoundland fare. We have eaten there twice in our four nights in Norris Point and would not hesitate to return. The atmosphere is comfortable, the owners very personable and the food was delicious. Visit this establishment and you won't be disappointed.

The first surprise was the dramatic and warm ambience. Seeking coffee, we were quickly enticed to delve into the menu ordering two of the available soups. The favors excited our palets. We all desired to come back for another visit. Meeting the owners, their enthusiasm for their dream and culinary skills did not disappoint us on our return. The chowder, mussels and muffins, made from fresh produce, were the best we have had. The red placemats, the smile on the owners faces when we returned made this a must visit for foodies.
