Delicious treat to find in this beautiful little harbour. Definitely worth a stop for lunch. We had homemade soup and sandwhiches in a great atmosphere.

Don’t let the name put you off – it just reflects the unique joie de vivre of Chef Justin George and wife Lynn Daley who run this small but well-appointed restaurant with a great ambience, attractive dishes and cutlery. Chef Justin has worked all across Canada in all areas of the hospitality industry and brings over 16 years of experience to the dinner table. The menu is just a guideline to great food prepared and served in an imaginative, creative, tasty and attractive manner. The menu changes daily and can be further adjusted when ordering to suit the individual requirements of the guests. While you are enjoying your meal Chef Justin will join you at your table for a friendly chat and to discuss the food. If you are within a reasonable driving distance of Norris Point, do not miss going to Justin Thyme.

We drove into Norris Point on a wet afternoon looking for somewhere to have a bite to eat and saw a non-description building painted lime green and decided to check it out. A real gourmet lunch in a small place is unusual but that's what we had. Nowhere else in Newfoundland did we have red leaf lettuce and mango slices. It makes you wonder where they get their ingredients and why more restaurants can't do the same. We plan to have dinner there later in our trip.

This is a small place which opened not too long ago by Justin, the amazing chef, and his partner. The food was incredibly fresh and creatively prepared. Justin came to our table and talked with us after the main course - he also creates the wonderful deserts. The menu is posted on a blackboard and changes every day. We tried to go back the next evening but it was so busy there was no parking across the street and people were lined up out the front door. If you are in the area it is not to be missed.

Doug & I have frequented this restaurant quite often throughout summer so this review is long over due! My lunch today was once again amazing! Quite a word for a simple soup and salad but that's what it was! The cauliflower & cheese soup with a bit of spice.....YUM!... And a go to favourite of mine.....the ceasar salad - the best I've had! Recently I tried the mussels - a first for me - they are indeed incredible! I have tried many things - Everything is always so fresh, creative and well prepared....and quick! The service is always excellent! I simply can't say enough - it is a must try! Congrats Justin & Lynn - you have a restaurant to be proud of!
