My wife and I spent three nights in the Tuscan Room, and enjoyed it more than when we were here at the Inn last year. Lisa and Kris went out of their way to make us feel so welcomed! We were the only guests for two nights, but Lisa insisted on hosting the Wine-Down hour each evening, and served us fantastic gourmet breakfasts each morning. We had a great time talking to Lisa and Kris...they made us feel like old friends, not guests in the Inn. Although we were there on business, we were able to relax and still got a lot of work done. The wireless internet connection was fast and easy to use. When we returned from dinner the first two nights, we had the house to ourselves. It really felt like "our" home even when all the other guests arrived on our third day.
The Tuscan room is very romantic and confortable. Maybe next time we will try another room. (Another nice thing about "getting lucky" and being the only guests in the Inn was that we were able to look at all the other rooms first-hand!).
Lisa and Kris are great hosts, world travellers and genuinely nice people.
We highly recommend The Inn at Onancock to anyone travelling on the Eastern Shore of Virginia!
