This was our first B & B experience, and needless to say, we will be putting a B & B stay at the top of our priority list on future getaways. Sandra is an amazing cook, hostess, and person in general. If we had a question, she was spot on with an answer and pointing us in the right direction. From suggestions for evening entertainment or quick day trips, we felt that we had our own personal trip planner! It was wonderful. We loved being greeted at the door by a smiling face when we returned from our adventures on the Eastern Shore! We also enjoyed the location of the Inn. We spent most of our time walking to downtown Onancock to shop, eat, or enjoy the local entertainment. I could spend an entire page writing about the gourmet breakfasts that Sandra prepares. We did not each lunch either day, we were so full from breakfast. The fact that you get a choice and you get to dine alone (if you prefer) was an added treat! Our anniversary was so special and it was all thanks to all of the little extra touches you will find from Sandra and the Inn & Garden Cafe.

This is a much belated review of our stay earlier this year. I second everything others have said about both the accommodations and the food, breakfast and supper. Paul has an original and talented palate, and will surprise you with dishes that are pleasant variations on the usual recipes. In our room and elsewhere, I kept coming across one nice touch after another that you wouldn't have missed if it hadn't been there, but which was either convenient or attractive, or bot, and which demonstrated the kind of extra effort that such touches must require. Maximum stars, and we will be going back soon a part of June journey. Maximum stars all around. P.S. Many books available, and a diverse selection of both fiction and non-fiction.

This was our second visit to The Inn Garden abd Cafe. Stayed two nights, ate two delicious dinners and two breakfasts. Both the dinners and breakfasts are not the typical run-of-the-mill food drops experienced at many B & Bs, or resturants. The dining experience presents interesting and tasty plating presentations. Considering the quality of food, the pleasant surroundings of the overnight room and the inn in general the visit is a genuine great value. Highly recommended.

Our meal at the Inn and Garden Cafe was excellent. We were promptly greeted by the owner and led to our seats. The service was prompt without the waitstaff hovering. We both ordered the pan seared sea scallops in a red pepper sauce. They were cooked to perfection. The salad and fresh cheesy bread were delicious! Even the coffee at the end of the meal was fresh brewed and flavorful. This restaurant stands out as a must do on the Eastern Shore.

The Inn and Garden Cafe has a very relaxing atmospehere. It is classy yet casual. The food is INCREDIBLE. The service is great and the owners as well as the chef are very friendly. If I could only pick one place to eat at all month, it would hands down be the Inn and Garden Cafe.
