15+ years of heading down (and up) the shore, and I finally feel like I can get fresh food at a good price. Watching the Chef(s) prepare our food, then Johnny Mo coming out of the kitchen, with his guitar, and covering great songs from multiple era's... phenomenal. . This place is a MUST STOP whichever way the wind blows you!!!

The owner/executive chef was singing and playing the guitar and it was great. His voice is amazing. The food, however, was quite disappointing. The haricots verts were completely COLD, and the lobster tails were underdone. The bread tasted like it was only half baked. It's really a shame because there is a lot of potential there.

Manhattan good. Crab soup unusual and good. Bread and seasoned butter other-worldly. Horseradish crusted salmon over smashed potatoes and sautéed spinach? Ridiculous. No! Subtle and fantastic. I hear the view is good, but I was there in the dark, and the only customer a few minutes after my arrival. Off season, I suppose, but I got the full treatment.

You can't find a prettier spot to eat a salmon BLT (or anything else) in all of Onancock! In the summer, you can sit out on the patio right on Onancock Creek and enjoy your food and a little live music as you watch paddlers return to the kayak shop next door from their adventures on the water. Love it!
