A free admission museum featuring a display of Opera star Georgina Stirling as well as other local displays from over the years. The house is the original Anglican Church Rectory and features pieces from the era in which the house was lived in. A lovely gift shop is located on the main floor and should be a must stop for anyone travelling in the area.

This is a loving collection of local history--furniture, clothing, artifacts--all nicely displayed with captions. The house is also a beautiful place to see. THis is all done by volunteers (no admission charge). THe volunteers who were there that day answered several questions willingly.

A very interesting and amazingly eclectic tourist stop. Everyone in our family group, including the 4 year old found someone of interest. We learned a lot about the fishing industry and history in NL. Great value.

I must admit that I had low expectations, but I was pleasantly surprised. For a small museum it had a great deal of really great things. It was very well organized, with each room having a theme with quite unique artifacts, well worth seeing.
