“Great accommodations!”
Reviewed July 31, 2013

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ruby and Mark's place. Very hospitable hosts who provided us with a delicious breakfast. Great location with a beautiful backyard view and close to all the attractions...would definitely stay again.

Ruby and Mark were the greatest hosts and the accomodations were spotless. Our breakfasts were wonderful with great food and lively conversations around the breakfast table. The highlight of our stay was the Kitchen Party that they arranged for us with Karren Churchhill. We had a great time playing the "ugly sticks" and spoons! The views of the cliffs and ocean in Twillingate were beautiful. We would highly reccomend this B&B to anyone planning to visit.

We stayed here for two nights and found the owners, Ruby and Mark, to be incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. Breakfasts were very good, lots of fresh fruit, and an opportunity to chat with other visitors around the dining room table. There's a comfortable sitting area with TV outside 3 of the bedrooms which are below grade. A fourth bedroom is on the main level of the house. There is a wonderful view of the harbor from the deck off the dining area from which you can watch the sunset. The washer and dryer can be used by guests for $5 per load. When I made our reservation the only room available was a twin bedroom...which looked small...but based on reviews I opted to take it anyway. It is a VERY small room which would be fine for one person or perhaps 2 children....but for two adults there is barely room to turn around. There is also virtually no place to put any luggage. Luckily we travel very light and we usually bring in the bare minimum...and there was still not enough space. Thank heavens for the sitting area! Nice to have the bathroom built into the corner of the room but it too was super tiny. I did have an opportunity to see the Queen room which was better sized although still not huge and with a more comfortably sized bathroom. The WiFi worked well. We wouldn't hesitate to stay there again but definitely not in the twin room.

This was a wonderful place to stay, meet others and enjoy the great company of the owners Ruby and Mark. The house is spotless, has a wonderful view at the back. Breakfasts were delicious and very filling. We had a lot of fun here and would highly recommend this fabulous B & B. Ruby made the best tea biscuits ever. Even gave my husband the recipe.

Room Tip: All the rooms looked great. We stay in the Lloyd room, which had 2 Queen size beds, lots of space. T...

We four girls from Manitoba had a wonderful time with Ruby and Mark. They were so accomodating and friendly. The breakfasts were superior! We really enjoyed the Twillingate area. Thoughts of the "Kitchen Party" kept us laughing for days. We loved meeting and getting to know the other guests. I really would recommend staying at the All Seasons B. & B. Love to Ruby and Mark, we miss you already!

Room Tip: Having a room on the main floor was especially good for me. I have problems with arthritis so being...

Ruby and Marc will probably remember me as "the Belgian woman who locked her car with the keys in it", but I will remember them and their B&B as one of my Newfoundland favorites. Upon arrival I immediately got information on hiking trails and where to eat the best lobster and I appreciated the small guest kitchen and sitting room as well. The breakfast was healthy and fresh, and while having so, we were treated with a slide show on the Twillingate area. And last but not least: the host were very helpful in solving the car issue!

We stayed with Marc and Ruby on May 18th and had a lovely time, despite a snow storm! Ruby and Marc are the sort of hosts who make you feel as though you're staying with a favourite uncle and aunt. They went out of their way to provide information on local attractions and places to eat. The accommodation was clean and comfortable, with a separate living area for your use.
Now for the breakfast........wow! A selection of just about everything you could wish for, from eggs and bacon to banana pancakes.
If you've only ever stayed in hotels, give a B&B a try for a change. This is a good one to start with. Thanks to Marc and Ruby. See you again!
