“Good Indian food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 11, 2012

The Food and service at the Jaipur can be very variable. On a good day the food is outstanding, and the service efficient and attentive. But I have sometimes been disappointed, with indifferent food and slow service from staff who seem disinterested in the customer. It is worth trying the Jaipur because on a good day the food is so delicious.

“My 1st choice for Indian in Woking”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 11, 2012

And there is certainly a lot from which to choose!
Along Chertsey Street alone there are at least 3, none of which are bad, but this one is the one to which I return each time out of choice.
The service is not always fantastic but generally is fine.
The food is nearly always very good: not greasy or obviously coloured.
It is over-priced, however and the portion sizes are not as big as in many competing restaurants, but the quantities are perfectly adequate.
Bottom line is I wouldn't keep going back if I wasn't happy!

“Poor service, unfriendly staff”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 30, 2012

The staff at Jaipur definitely a course in customer service. Being rude and impolite doesnt get repeat customers and it is high time someone told them to look at the internet reviews.
The food quality is basic and needs improvement too.
skip if you have a choice, which i am sure most have.

“Excellent food but some of the waiters rude!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 19, 2012

The Jaipur is one of our favourite Indian restaurants, have eaten there numerous times over the years. The food is always excellent but the service questionable, the last couple of times that we've been there one particular waiter has been miserable and rude which just ruins the meal. They charge £1.50 for the mango chutney etc. which I don't mind but I object to being moaned at by the waiter when I said that I would like to keep it to go with my main course. Such a disappointment that a couple of waiters ruin the meal, especially as it's now reached the stage where I'm going to try Bombay Nights instead which is just next door and apparently is just as good - I just hope that the service there is better.

“Very very bad place to eat ...”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 4, 2012

I visited the restaurant at 12.30 afternoon and they said to me they are closed for the day, but they can do take away. So i ordered and when i returned to collect there were British guests.

It was an insult to me...

Over and above, the food was pathetic.. and for sure not a place to go...

Even in my takeaway they did not keep spoon/fork.
