Room was clean, quiet and very comfortable for the fairly inexpensive price paid. Staff were polite and courteous. The room was on the top floor, which was definitely worth it as the hotel is near the main train station and near fairly busy roads.

Another great stay at the Woking Travelodge. Very busy on Saturday evening, but no inside noise reached my second-floor room (marked as a "quiet" floor.) The road outside is a busy one, so guests for whom that might be an issue should perhaps request a rear-facing room. Everything in my room worked, and I had a very comfortable 2-night stay. Will certainly stay there again.

This was a midweek, overnight stay.

Approaching the hotel entrance, I was greeted by smokers on the steps of and the entrance of the hotel. This made the lobby/reception stink of stale tobacco which wasn’t pleasant (and I say this as a smoker).
The room was small but clean, with adequate tea and coffee making facilities. Enough hanging space for clothes and the bed was comfortable.
Breakfast was dire: the coffee (from a vending machine) was undrinkable, the fruit juice was almost certainly diluted. There were limited pastries, the fruit (apples, oranges and grapes) was in a watery soup which wasn’t pleasant. Fortunately, the yoghurt was sealed, so at least there was one edible item.
The tables were slow to be cleared by surly staff.
I paid £134 for a double room and for the experience in this budget hotel.
Quite frankly, I wouldn’t return unless the rates reflected the service. (£50 per night being a fair rate.)
If you are booking in Woking, my advice is look elsewhere. I recommend Doubletree by Hilton, which offered a first class service in every respect. And the rates are comparable (£264 for 2 nights at the weekend in a deluxe king size room).
I advise you, implore you to think twice about booking here.

Room tip: Book a room in another hotel.

Good value hotel within very easy walking distance of the station and shops. Room and bathroom were clean and well maintained. The buffet breakfast was good value for money. Some parking was available, but it was limited and the car park was often full.
Our room was near the post office depot, so we were woken at 4am on the first night by activity there. We kept the windows closed at night after this.

We travel widely and often look for Travelodge in the areas we visit. As we are out and about and just need a clean, comfortable and quiet room we find there are not many places to compete with Travelodge for price and attentiveness of staff. We like to lie in some mornings so don't have the need to rise earlier than we would for breakfast and Travelodge facilitates this. Great experience again.
