We visited Kinara for dinner last Saturday. We hadn't been for a few years but it was as good as we remembered. It is an atmospheric place, in an old cottage, with a small bar area and well-spaced tables (not crammed together). The staff are welcoming and efficient. In the summer there is a splendid doorman in Indian costume, but in January who could blame him for not standing outside?
The menu is a sensible length with plenty of interesting dishes. We had an excellent lamb biryani and a prawn bhuna. The naan was excellent and so was the kulfi. The wine list is good and the price was quite modest - excellent value.
I'd thoroughly recommend it.
