What an amazing place!! Decor is just fabulous, food is delicious, hot dogs are huge, burgers are huge!!! Great Value for money, have been twice, first time we waited ageeeeeessssss for food so they could speed up the food a bit but other than that, my new favourite place. Maybe staff could wear name badges? I was served by a lovely young girl, dark hair she was new, she did a very good job! Thank You!

“You will be waiting a looooong time!”
Reviewed March 5, 2013

We booked a table for 8pm on a Friday.
Arrived at 8 and it was ten minutes before anyone even came over to us whilst we stood at the door like lemons.
We were eventually seated and given a menu and were advised that our waitress would come and introduce herself and being a drinks menu.
She did do this after around ten minutes and we ordered a bottle of house rose.
We were advised that this would be with us 'in a couple of minutes' when she would be back to take our food order.
We waited patiently (as we could see that the bar was very busy) for 20 minutes when i eventually lost my patience and rang the service bell.
The waitress duly came over and apologised - explained that they were busy and that she would personally get the wine herself.
We waited another 15 miinutes before it came.
We then ordered our food - nothing too complex - sweet potato pancakes and a burger.
I asked how long it would be and was told around 30 minutes.
45 minutes later and we had still not been served - started to get a bit nervous however when the manager went over to a table that had ordered before us and we overheard him telling them that their order had 'been lost' and that they could have a discount but would have to order again.
so we rang the bell .... again, and were advised it would only be around ten minutes.
A full hour after ordering, our food finally arrived and thankfully it was delicious which is the
only saving grace of this review.
I wouldn't have been so annoyed about the service if they had been honest with us up front and advised us that we would have to wait an hour.
Also, once we had paid the bill and were getting ready to leave, the manager came over to another table next to ours to apologise for their wait - which had only been around 30 minutes at this point, and they were offered a free drink on the house - we were offered diddly and had waited for an hour and a half to eat !!

That said, I would give them another chance as the food was really good so hopefully the next review will be a better one,

“Amazing decor a great look”
Reviewed March 5, 2013 via mobile

The decor makes you truly feel like your in a American diner really impressive !!

Service is good but slow and occasionally forgetful of drink orders but the young girl was very polite and attentive .

Food sadly is the let down the burger is homemade and meaty but very bland no spices or ingredients just beef same with the meatballs and pasta sauce very bland was just passata sauce with no herbs or effort involved in flavouring it and beef balls take s note out Frankie and bennys book ,
Deserts poor too not much choice and just shop bought ice cream & fudge cake I'd rather pay extra and get quality tbh !!

If they can revamp the menu and maybe get a more experienced chef who can add flavour to the dishes !! as much of the food I could do better at home which is not what you want when out for a meal spending your hard earned cash

Drinks good Budweiser on draught big bonus . Milkshakes nice & coke in a glass bottle keeping with diner theme !!

Overall decent effort for a new venture but improvement needed for longevity .
