This is exactly what Runcorn Old Town has been missing! The Brindley Theatre attracts people to the town but there is no where decent to eat......UNTIL NOW! I've eaten here twice now and have two further bookings made. It's a fabby little restaurant .... The food is great .... Its always packed ..... Absolutely no complaints ..... Well done x

“Great restaurant”
Reviewed March 10, 2013 via mobile

First time here for Mothers Day after numerous recommendations and great trip advisor ratings. Certainly lived up to both. A small, inviting restaurant with a warm, friendly welcome.
Good menu choice and meal delicious from first course to coffee. £25 each including drinks (A La Carte menu) also offers a smaller selection on the 'early bird' deal which seemed like very good value for either two or three courses (£11.50)
We sat downstairs one table back from the front door which was the only minor negative as it got a bit chilly when the door was opened. Upstairs and rear tables a bit warmer perhaps but did have a radiator next to the table.
Would definitely recommended and will be going back.
Not many reasons to go into Runcorn but this is definitely one ! :-)

“Fantastic service, fabulous food.”

Second trip to this small but lovely Italian. The staff couldn't do enough to help and were very amiable. As for the food...fantastic. I'd definitely recommend this place and am looking forward to returning asap.

We went on New Years Eve & again in February for my birthday & both times the food was really nicely presented & tasty. The staff are attentive without lingering although on both occasions we had to ask for the chips we had orderred. Will definitely go again. It's a shame Runcorn doesn't have more nice restaurants.

“Close, but no cigar......”
Reviewed March 1, 2013

Well after being overwhelmed by the current glut of positive reviews may I cast a proverbial spanner in the works and say quite frankly I wasn't that impressed? We called at a busy time and were accommodated without fuss, I had the prawn linguine, my partner the grilled Filetto alla griglio (grilled fillet steak with mushrooms and tomatoes) and my four year old the spaghetti bolognese, whilst all three meals were devoured promptly, the feeling was that it could have been so much better. We may be back again, we may not.... there lies the rub.
