Okay pub grub - surf & turf, steaks, chicken & ribs etc.
Best bit is the salad bar - have as much as you like and refill as many times as you like. Sometimes noisy with children.

We arrived in plenty of time, only to be told in a panicky way that the kitchen was shutting at 10pm. We were asked to sit in the bar area and at 9.50pm the waiter came over and grabbed us repeating that the kitchen was closing at 10pm. We were seated and they took their time coming to get our order. Finally a lady came and didn't even write our order down and true to what I expected, 10mins later while we were helping ourselves to salad, another waitress came and cobbled together some story about a problem in the kitchen and the other waitress had forgotten our order. We had to hurriedly remember...prob would have been a good idea for the second waitress to bring a menu with her so we could point out our order as we couldn't remember and we were caught on the hop so to speak.

Food was average.

we stopped of for a quick meal, ordered fish but was told there was no fish as it hadnt been defrosted !!! so my sone who only eats fish had to eat chips and salad.
I did complain and they phoned us up saying the chef was really bad and the brentwood harvester has had to go there and sort it out.
They emailed me a letter saying that they would give me a 10.00 voucher when i asked where the voucher actually was i was told it was that the letter was the voucher !

Well laid out pub/diner with lots of corners, partitions etc. Standard Harvester menu. Quality was mixed - nice battered cod but haddock was soft and squidgy. Banoffi desert was very tasty. The plus factor for us was the waitress called Hayley who was an absolute star.

This has got to be the worst Harvester I have ever been to.. The waiting time
For a table was over one hour. The Resturant was absolutely freezing and the food was cold and bland.. Please spend your money elsewhere and enjoy your meal in a nice warm Resturant
