Foods normally ok as is the salad cart, normally a safe bet for an ok meal food wise. Open plan elements of the redecoration recently have made it a very noisy environment and that coupled with music blaring it can be hard to do anything but eat in silence so better when restaurant is not busy.

visited here on 20/04/13 at 8.30pm, we had to wait for a few minutes while the person who greets you was chatting with another employee about there personal lives, then we were informed there was a 30 minute wait for a table which is not unusual so we went to the bar and ordered a drink, we sat and drank them and continued to wait, we ended up waiting alot longer than 30 mins, we were eventually shown to our table and then we waited for our waitress to come over to take a drink and food order, this took over 15 minutes. We noticed our drinks were sitting on the bar a long while befor the waitress bought them to our table we nearly went up and got them ourselves. Once we had placed our order we went to the salad bar which was nearly empty and had hairs all over the salad bar itself and in what remained of the salad. Our meals came a short while later and I have to admit the meals were lovely. The waitress came and cleared our plates and we asked for the bill and then she vanished again, in this time my partner went to the ladies roon and whilst I was looking around I noticed one of the waitresses opening up the foil protector from new bottles of tomato ketchup, she was using her teeth to peel this off, which I thought was disgusting. My partner returned saying the toilets were horrible also, the bill eventually arrived and we paid as fast as possible and left never to return. Also shout state that lots of other people were angry about how long it was taking to pay for there meals often people were walking up to the bar to pay as they were fed up with waiting. The venue itself seemed well decorated inside but it was quite cold and I had a count and only 6 tables had people sitting at them so they cant say they were too busy. Our waitress was moaning to everyone that she had been there for 8.5 hours which seems pretty normal to me.

Took the children and their friends to this Harvester on Saturday evening. Was very busy but we didn't have to wait long for a table for 7. Great service from the waitress who was very patient while everyone chose what they wanted. Couldn't fault the rack of Ribs, very nice indeed. All in all very good experience.

First impressions always count! So the first thing we see as we walk in is an extra large can of Red Bull sitting on the 'meet and greet podium' where the 'hostess' met us - does that really need to be on show!
Shown to our table promptly but too much smiling going on from the hostess. Went to the salad bar but half of the items were missing. Food took about 20mins to arrive - chicken burger and mash for me, stuffed peppers for the wife, burger and mash for the youngest. Stuffed Peppers okay but chips bland, chicken bland, peas bland, burger bland, mash bland, even the sweetcorn was bland. So verdict BLAND and TASTELESS. Some might say for £25 fort three you get what you pay for but not again. Three staff by the door on the way out and not one said god-bye
