You have lot of fruit, veg, clothing, and various things on the stalls, you could possibly buy. The market is sometimes very busy & crowded, otherwise it is fine.
the problem lies in some market traders though. For ex., the people selling fruit and veg. There is this one woman, selling fruit & veg, on the side of the £1 & Argos. You cannot choose & pick your own fruit from the display, you must TELL HER what you want, & she will give it to you from behind the stall. On the display she has beautiful, fresh fruit, yummy looking. But what she puts for you in the bag from behind the stall is 99% rotten, bad fruit, good for the bin. She is rude, aggressive, and the moment you touch her display, she will tell you off. Not worth going there. You get better service in supermarkets, then on these fruit stalls.

The market has something for everyone, with three shopping malls: Liberty one & two and the Brewery, which is on three floors - the cinemas are on the top floor, in the mid-level is the various restaurants - where you can enjoy your food.

On the ground level is Virgin Active keepfit centre, A Toby Carvery with a very large Sainsburys.

Outside the three storey complex, are more shops to check out and buy things - although the actual market is open spaced, it has given its name to the whole area: Liberty one & two have their own story - find out what it is, for yourself.
If you have the time, there is plenty to see in Romford and there is no time limit, take as long as you want.

I live a train journey away from Romford Market and have been going there for over thirty years - it is evolving all the time and just when you think you have seen it all, more is added and some disappear.

Changes happen, that's a fact of life - so enjoy the moment while you can and be happy doing it.
