Always a lovely place to walk or run around. Great place for dogs and people can feed the ducks. I've been here a number of times running or walking. There is a park, cafe and ice cream van on the way round so something for everyone. There are benches all the way round the lake. It is approx. 2.2 miles to get round fully so there's places you can sit down and just enjoy the view. There's even people that ride their horses down part of the track. Would recommend for anyone but can be windy so bring a coat.

Took the dog for a walk. Usually go in the nicer weather but decided to go this week. It was a bit wild and woolly but still a nice walk. There are places very close to the Jetty and across the road from the Car Park to get a hot drink and something to eat. It was really nice, a lot quieter than it is in the good weather but it was better somehow. Easy to park and Toby loved being able to have a run on the waterside. Lots of ducks, Canada Geese and Seagulls around as well. Felt much better after the walk, good place to clear your head and relax

Just passing and stopped for brunch at a lovely little cafe.
Visiting as a memory from my youth. Pleasant on a very cold morning with plenty to see and boats out sailing.

Lovely place to get some fresh air with beautiful views. Nice wide flat path around the perimeter of the lake, suitable for prams and wheelchairs. Lots of wildlife to be spotted, water sports available with prior booking. Restaurants, pubs, wine bar, cafe, fish and chips arcades and ice cream. Everything for a good family day out. Only draw back is lack of parking.

Love, love Hollingsworth Lake. I have ridden my bike there plenty of times. Great on sunny days as well as cold days. Walking around the lake then stopping to eat at one of the eatery’s at the lake.

All you need is reasonable weather to enjoy the scenery and the walk.Refreshments can be obtained from a few places around the lake, some good restaurants and snack bars and a couple of pubs, with amusements for encouraging children to complete the circuit.Whilst the terrain is pretty flat and part tarmac,a good part is dirt and gravel with lots of dips and potholes,so good footwear is really essential. For birdwatchers there’s hides and an information centre to advise on other activities around.

We popped in on our way home from a short trip and we were most impressed. It was well looked after and easy to walk around the lake, with cafes in at least three locations. We parked (cheap pay & display) and had coffee at the visitor centre. There is a hide about halfway round (from the visitor centre) where we sat and watched the birds including a snipe right in front of us. There is a children's playground near the visitor centre and another on the South side of the lake. All in all, a very pleasant way of spending a couple of hours, but be prepared for a strong breeze off the water.
