The theatre is attached to Oulder Hill School, close to the Rochdale Cemetery. It's does seem to be a strange place to have a theatre. The theatre itself is a good size and has shows that are ok. Some comedians, local productions and a pantomime every year.

Smaller venues tend to be that bit better at engaging the younger end of visitors and we took 3 and 5 year olds for their first time.
From start to finish its 3 hours and that sounds worrying but it isn,t - they really enjoyed it. So much so that the following day was all Captain Hook!
Refreshments are reasonably priced and there are plenty of toilets which is a big issue with liitle kids!!
Only concern for me was that the smoke machine ran during the entire performance and you could really taste it after a while.
Loads of car parking and well lit.

We have been to a couple of shows here, which have been really good. The theatre is quite big, so not cramped inside. There are good parking facilities and a nice little bar for before and in the interval if you want a drink.

Enoyed a retro revival show here. Very large, traditional, theatre attached to a school - you have to search for the bar! Reasonable prices and friendly staff.
