Its not just the quality of the food that makes an evening at a restaurant enjoyable but the whole experience.
The welcome we received was bright and cheerful but not over bearing. After being shown to our table the drinks order was taken and they arrived having given us enough time to settle down into the surroundings.
We began with poppadums, followed by a shared mixed starter comprising kebabs, onion bhajis and chicken skewers. Mains were a chicken samba and lamb tikka madras with bombay potato, pilau rice and chapati. The meat was very tender and fully infused with spice flavours. We could not fault a thing.
We never felt in the least bit rushed as the courses arrived with time between to relax a little. We finished with coffees.
This was a very, very good meal complimented by the outstanding service we received. We did visit on a Tuesday evening so not perhaps the busiest time to test their service but nonetheless I do recommend this restaurant without hesitation.
