“Very pleasant staff”
Reviewed July 17, 2014

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights and were greeted at reception with a very friendly receptionist. the staff were all very helpful and cannot fault them at all. The tube station is just across the road and were able to catch the coach to stansted airport from the station aswell. The room was very clean and comfortable and nicely decorated but the only downfall is that the room was far too warm and even though we had a fan it still was very warm and found it hard to adjust the heat system. overall had a really lovely stay.

We stayed at this premier in last weekend with my grandson. And used it as a base to visit london. Quite good inn but dated the rooms are spotless and comfortable. But as it is very near a busy road not the quietest place to stay. The staff are lovely nothing is to much trouble for them. The restaurant is ok but not the best one we have been to. The underground is two minutes walk away so a brilliant place to stay if you are a heavy sleeper.

Great reception after tedious car journey. Ample & convenient parking. Room looking just a bit shabby but clean and comfortable. impossible to adjust heat from a 'too hot' 26 degrees, although its not 'air conditioning. The fan supplied helped. Quiet inside, but some traffic noise, since we were on the motorway side of the hotel. It's quieter on the other side. Copious breakfast well served in civilised Beefeater. Personal interest from staff. Handy for Redbridge Tube station but a long way out. Cant have it all ways! Allowed to leave car until early afternoon on day of departure.

Checking took ages on top of that the room wasn't so great, wasn't cleaned after the previous guest left, bathroom was disgusting, wasn't a good experience. Didn't realise it was going to be bad as this

What I liked:
- Very near the Tube (Redbridge Station)
- Friendly staff
- Spacious room and comfortable bed
What I liked less:
- Very noisy - Room no 1 next to a very heavy and constant traffic. I could also hear guests walking in the room above mine. I am a heavy sleeper but I was waken a few times by the traffic, and doors banging.
- soulless decor and environment.

We chose this hotel due to it's easy access from the M25 via the M11. Premier inn certainly didn't let us down, fantastic friendly staff including the lady serving breakfast which as usual was spot on. you know what you are going to get room wise, basic, very clean, very comfortable and quiet. We didn't use the beefeater so can't comment, it was getting a lick of paint on the outside. The Redbridge tube station across the road makes this hotel the perfect place to stay, we will deffo be back even if we come by train

We spent two nights at this premier inn and was most welcome from the moment we booked in. On booking in we did mention that we phoned in advance asking for a room on the quiet side of the hotel, as I felt I might not get much sleep with the busy road. We were told that we had a ground floor room on that side and if we were happy with it. The room itself was like any other premier inn, clean and comfortable.
Going into London we found the tube station across the road and it only took half hour.
We didn't have breakfast during our stay but we did have a meal at the beefeater. When we asked for a table, we were told we have to wait an hour for a table in the restaurant or we can have our meal in the lounge area, which we did. The restaurant didn't seem that busy at the time, so my advice is if you want to eat in the restaurant then book in advance. The meal we had was excellent and we did go for the deal they had £13 for 2 courses or £15 for 3 courses which was good value.
This premier is excellent for London and if you want to go shopping at Westfield it's only 2 stops away and what a shopping experience.
We would only be to happy to stay here again, out of all the premier inns we have stayed in this was the most friendliest, the staff always had a smile on their face and nothing was too much trouble .

Room Tip: phone in advance and ask for a room on the quiet side
