I been there on a few occasions and was going to have my wedding ceremony. booked to have it there but then was told only 70 people could be seated and it wouldnt have been space for my guest.

The gardens adjoining the mansions is very picturesque and inside the Mansions is also a Museum, opens on tuesdays and Sundays in the winter seasons.

Welcome to Ilford. It is worth many visits. It is situated in Valentines Park. There is the lake where one can hire a boat in the summer times to go around the lake. Valentines Park has many areas for different activities and of course a cafe in the park. Childrens area as well. Waliking distance to Ilford Station served by Greater Anglia trains and Gants Hill Central Line Underground Station. Please visit it will be worth your while.

Near Gants Hill station, Central Line. After decades of neglect, reordered 2009; expensively restored mansion of c18/early c19 aspect in superb park with well-tended gardens. Minimalist displays so you can appreciate the ambience of the house. Well worth a trip out from London and could easily be combined with a visit to the Olympic Park or Westfield.
