Went to box hill version and this is idealic and peaceful with kitch western American atmosphere. Staff were a little slow at times but polite and friendly. Food was great New Yorker burger and TBone steak. Asked for extra pickles and was given a plate full. Then had the belly buster for dessert and was massive! Steak was a little pricey but atmosphere and ambience made up for that. Great for special occasions and free refills on pop! Perfect

It must have taken effort to cook that bad. My T-bone cost £22 but was dry, tough and about 3mm thick, served with four or five chips and a manky salad. My girlfriends food was worse, the baked potato was disgusting and her steak tasted strange. The children's fajitas were dry, cold and unappetising. All in all we paid £80 for two adults and two children for quite possibly the worst meal I've ever had in this country and that's saying something. GIVE THIS PLACE A MISS!!!!!

I have been several times right back to when this restaurant opened. We have attended in various groups for family celebrations, large parties, leaving dos, and just as a couple. The location is convenient as it is within walking distance from my ranch. Originally, we found this place cosy and intimate with a really nice western fell with great food.

However, the last two visits in the last six months were spoilt by children’s parties. Our table on one visit had a party of around 20 twelve year old boys on one side and the same number of 10 year old girls on the other. The din was almost unbearable.

I understand this is probably the restaurant’s main source of income, large parties of kids running about mad and screaming at the top of their voices but this rather puts one of ones burger and chips and limits the sweet nothings I can whisper into my wife’s shell like ear.

The food is good, the portions are not as generous as they used to be, the beer is cold (lager only) and the sweets are yummy.

Oh - one other thing, if there is a party of howling unsupervised kids and it is a birthday, at some point in the meal, all the staff come to that table singing happy birthday and ringing a huge hand bell…ding ding.

Been going here for years as always got large portion sizes for a good price, although still a great place to take the kids feel the quality of food is not as good as it used to be, steaks seem smaller and less tasty but prices have gone up.
Inside is well done and looks impressive they just need to up their game on eating deals like other restaurants and keep on top of the food quality.
Will still continue to go there but not as often.

Popped in again to see if it had improved. Service is still VERY patchy, I was ignored basically and the chef then seemed to forget to cook my burger despite the place being empty... or maybe the server forgot to hand my order in.

I think the management need to spend time training the young table staff properly on how to spot when customers need service. Look at the clients, make eye contact, see if they need something... basics. The staff are young and keen just need proper guidance.
