This was our fourth visit and were not disappointed . We were instantly recognised and had a wonderful evening sitting outside enjoying our meal which we couldn't fault , yet again. If you want authentic Italian this is the place to go. Forget about High St Italian there is no comparison here you are treated as friends of the family .....

“pleasant meal”
Reviewed June 14, 2014

We stopped in for lunch on a Saturday afternoon while visiting Horsham after reading TripAdvisor reviews. The wait staff were fantastic and friendly and chatted with us and our two ypung daughters. Pizzas we're nice, calzone was substantial and good, and the carbonara was nicely prepared. Especially nice for families is that children can order any dish off the menu with a child's size and price. Why go to one of the chain high street Italians when you have a local family operation with better food at comparable prices?

“Stop searching for a restaurant, you've found the perfect place! And forget Pizza Express!”
Reviewed June 6, 2014 via mobile

After living in Horsham for more than 25 years, tonight we went to Filippo's restaurant at the back of Piries Place for my Mum's birthday for the first time. A little restaurant that we've never really paid attention to before, for no other reason than we often just wandered up Easy Street and picked somewhere..

There is genuine regret that we haven't been before!! The food is the best we've had in a long time, all made in house, light, fresh and perfectly cooked and seasoned. My Mum is a self confessed foodie too, (with a love of seafood) so has high standards and knows her stuff!! But she loved it, high praise!!!

The staff are lovely, genuine and welcoming, bringing their little slice of Italy to Horsham :-)

We cannot wait to come back again, and wouldn't be here if we hadn't been recommended to by someone else. We're so glad we did, so now I'm passing on the recommendation to you :-)

In fact, it's so good, I'm still here, I've just paused from eating my homemade apple strudel with the most unbelievable vanilla ice cream that transports you to Sicily!

A big thank you to your lovely team here for making us feel so welcome! We'll be back!

“Surprise treat”
Reviewed June 1, 2014 via mobile

Having lived in Italy for many years, I was really pleased to have discovered this authentic, family run and friendly restaurant. The linguini alle vongole on the menu displayed outside enticed us in. It did not disappoint. The home made desserts just made it better. The team were so nice and friendly, a real treat these days. I wish I lived nearer, as I'd be in every week!

“A very happy accident”
Reviewed May 20, 2014

We parked in the car park right next to this restaurant and had not planned ahead to go there. We did a quick check on tripadvisor and decided to give it a go. Very glad we did. The staff were wonderful and they were having one of their regular jazz evenings so there was a lovely lively atmosphere from the live music. For those with a large appetite we would have to recommend the Calzone, it was the biggest one any of us had ever seen!
