Loved this place. Decided last minute on a Sunday that we fancied some good, honest, down to earth pub grub. Found us a table no problem, handed out menus and mentioned what the specials were and how many of each dish they had left. Gave us enough time to choose, and didn't pressure us into ordering. This was a family do and we had alot of chatting/catching up going on and they seemed to respect this fact. When the food arrived it tasted perfect, and a good size helping at that. The staff asked if we wanted anything to go with the meal, condiments, sauces etc and noticed when our drinks were running almost empty and offered more. Spot on with attention to detail. The only downfall was the manager handing out a tripadvisor card at the end. If you carry on as you are and continue this sort of service, you don't need Tripadvisor. I'm a firm believer in word of mouth being the best reputation. (Yet I still wrote a review!). Keep up the good work.
