7 of us went here on Sun 14th for my sisters 40th birthday meal, despite a helium balloon, a flashing 40 yr old badge and banners galore......not one waitress mentioned it was a 'special birthday'..........you have to go up to the bar to order, our starters arrived in about 15 mins, which we came to realise was super fast, we had to wait a further 70 mins for our mains.
After 45 mins we asked where they were and were told they were really busy and we were next! Obviously a fib has had to wait a further 25 mins!!!
Three of us had the roast, the meat was dried at the edges, the roast potatoes soggy and the carrots obviously frozen or from a tin - yuck. One of the party had the seafood paella and the portion were tiny.
Staff, friendly-ish, but had an air of not really caring. During the 2.5 hours we were there, the fire alarm went off 3 times! All the staff ignored it. We ordered puddings and had to wait a further 30 mins, the table next to us started to walk out as had waited over 50 mins for their puddings, the waitress brought them out and didn't even apologise!
When we were paying we were asked how things had been, we told them, a young waiter advised that as they had been quiet the previous weekend the manager told 2 of the staff not to come in. Obviously a mistake.
A huge disappointment.
