“A little gem”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 6, 2011

Quite, clean and friendly. Modern décor, large comfortable bed plenty of storage, loads of clean towels and the shower had some real pressure. The only criticism for this hotel I may have was that the room was a little too warm but opening the window for a while resolved that.

We stayed here for a single night because of a sports event at Wembley Stadium.

We walked to the stadium from the Brent and it took 30 minutes although it’s a 10 minute walk to the tube station and 30 seconds to the bus stop where the 204 will take you to Wembley Park.

Would recommend the Brent.

Room Tip: £5 breakfast upgrade is worth it.

Just returned from a two night stay and was very impressed by this independent hotel.
The staff were friendly, the hotel was immaculate and our family room was very spacious and well equipped.
The shower was a particular highlight - great water pressure even on the top floor!
The only things that meant our stay wasn't perfect were the room temperature (like a sauna even after leaving the many windows open all day and the blinds closed against the sun) and the traffic noise from the busy main road. Oddly enough, we also found the attic room smelled strongly of the cooked breakfasts being prepared on the ground floor!
Despite these minor niggles, we would stay there again if the need arose.

Fixtures in rooms were a little tatty. (door handle hanging off, many light bulbs not working, door hangers not secure). WiFi very costly. Breakfast not worth the upgrade. Either included wifi or breakfast in room price would make this hotel much more value for money. Wembley is only one tube station away which is ideal; we bought a day saver and visited London center through the day and then used to it to get to Wembley. The closest tube station is Preston Road, which is a 10 min walk. On site parking is limited to 5 or 6 cars although there is parking across the road. We were lucky and parked outside the front door which has CCTV. Local shops seem to be sufficient for any forgotten overnight items with a few restraunts there too. Staff very friendly.

From walking through the door the whole hotel ouzed a touch of style. Met by helpful and friendly reception (24hrs) and signed in.
Our room was spacious enough for the 2 of us with plenty of clean towels and a huge bed! Wardrobe was well stocked with hangers, a flat screen tv with multiple channels, tea/coffee making facilities. Shower room was very clean. Only negative was a £3 charge for the wi-fi services which i feel these days should be a free password protected service and the large fridge situated at the foot of the bed. Seemed a little excessive as a smaller item would have sufficed, though nice to keep an drinks cool. The room was very warm.
Breakfast room was clean and nice and bright and it was a self service continental type offering. We were asked if we prefered a full english on walking in to the room. Food was plentiful and a choice of croissant, toast, fruit and cereal were our choice.
The hotel itself had about 8 or so parking spaces which really helped on a very busy location. However side street parking nearby was an option if we weren't lucky enough to get parked. The nearest tube station (Preston Road) was a 10 min walk and comes in zone 4 of the underground network. 20 mins in to the city centre.
Would recommend and stay again

Great independent hotel found through booking.com. We booked the super deluxe room which was on the top floor. Great views of Wembley Stadium from the bedroom window. The bed was huge and super comfy. The room was immaculate - clean linen and towels, new samsung flat screen tv, fridge (which was quiet, huge and was just what we needed for all the snacks we brought), clean and powerful shower. Looks like the decor had not been scrimped on at all. Really nice hotel - friendly owners too. Breakfast included was continental - which was much better than what you expect - toast, ceral, croissants etc. Car parking was free and safe, and wembley was a 30 minute walk away - ideal! Thanks for a pleasant stay.

Room Tip: Room 32 - perfect.

The rooms of the hotel was very neat and tidy. The staff of the hotel was very polite and very cooperative.

Mr. Laxman, Manager of the hotel was very cooperative and helpful and looked after all our requirements. Always better to him around for guidance in and around london.

Cancellation and rebooking was very smooth. We would definately would be back in here, when we jump around wimbley in london.

I spent two weeks at Brent hotel on my visit to London. I was greeted by friendly staff that helped me with my check-in and got me settled in my room right away, despite the fact that I arrived three hours before check-in time.
The room was well organized and the decor was clean modern. What I really liked was that it did not feel like just another hotel room. The place had a real touch of home which really made my stay more pleasant. When it came to the hotel service they did not disappoint. Both the office and cleaning staff took care of all my needs and requests.
After staying at this hotel I could not believe the negative reviews they were able to get. As a satisfied customer I decided to take some pictures of the place to help fellow member to have a better look at the hotel. Hope this helps.
