“Second stay - consistently good”
Reviewed January 24, 2012

Second time stayed at this premier inn. Of the hotel chains...and I've used most at some stage ..have always found premier inn the best. Thi sparticular one has nice setting next to park . Taxi ride rather than walk from town centre is only downside. Staff were excellent...very friendly. Rooms and food up to the usual standard you'd expect from this hotel chain. Good experience and would use again.

We stayed for just 1 night on Thursday 29th December 2011. We used it as a stop over as we was travelling to Euro Disney for the weekend. The hotel was very easy to find and on arrival there were many parking spaces infront of the building. The hotel is also set back off from the main road so there was not noise from the traffic. On arrival the recetionist was very polite and helpful. The room was very clean and tidy and had been refurbished to a very good standard. We had booked a meal at the Woodlands before arrival and had some time to spare so the receptionist was very helpful and gave us directions to the town. The Evening meal and Breakfast at the Woodlands was very nice. We were shown straight to our table and at both times the service was very friendly and the food was of a very good standard. The only thing I would say is that during the night someone in the room above kept pacing up and down the room throughout the night and woke myself and my wife up many times. The other thing which was no fault of the hotel is an incosiderate guest staying in a room nearby kept banging the doors. He was in and out most of the night and I know on one accassion he had bought goods from the vending machine as you could hear the rustling of food. Unfortunately the room (10) that we stayed in was right next to a passageway door so besides the room door being banged you could also hear this door being closed frequentley. On our depature there was a different receptionsist at the desk and she thanked us for returning the key, however even though there was no-one else in reception at the time there was no question of did we have a pleasant stay and had everything been okay.

Room Tip: Don't stay on the ground floor and ask for a room where there is not a door leading through the...

We stayed one night just before Christmas and it was one of the nicest hotels in its class. Staff are good and the hotel is clean and well maintained.

I arrived at the hotel with some trepidation as it was my first stay in a Premier Inn, and a month earlier my first stay in a Travelodge had not been a pleasant experience. Happily my concerns vanished from the moment I arrived.

Plenty of free parking right outside, the entrance and reception area were small but pleasant and more than adequate, I was immediately greeted with a smile, the charming lady at reception processsed my check-in quickly and efficiently. The ground floor room was large, well furnished for a basic hotel, the bathroom well fitted and spotlessly clean, the whole decor was modern and inviting, the large bed was very comfortable. The following morning I wandered across the car park to the Beefeater where breakfast was served. I was the first customer, as soon as I walked in a staff member came over to greet me, again with a smile. Several staff members took the time to greet and have a quick chat with me and with other guests as they arrived. I had prepaid for the contintental breakfast, excellent selection of quality items, all in all a very pleasant breakfast in a friendly and comfortable environment.

I couldn't fault the hotel or breakfast at all, and for the price it was superb value for money. Based on my totally unscientific sample of 1 Travelodge and 1 Premier Inn, the latter is so far ahead on all points that any price difference between the two is well worth paying.

Handy hotel to walk into Gravesend - and it's all downhill! Under a tenner for a taxi back too.

Rooms are quiet even on a Saturday - backs onto a park, so quite pleasant view. Clean, fine for the price. Staff friendly. Only problem was hot water never got beyond warm.

Room Tip: Be aware there's no lift and lots of fire doors on the first floor.

Have stayed here many times,it is easy to get into town and meet up with family.
The reception staff are very polite and happy to help, and do take advantage of thier offer to book a table at the Beefeater next door.
Meals and service at the Woodlands Beefeater are always good and is very popular.
Will use again without question

Another good place to stay , ticked all the usual Premier Inn boxes , Fresh & clean rooms , friendly staff and pub attached, Stayed whilst visiting Brands Hatch Circuit, approx 13 miles away from there, not the nearest but it was the nearest we could get at last minute. Pub attached was okay but could do with more staff, extremely busy on the Saturday night, was going to suggest you book a table but didnt seem to make much difference in waiting time, we ended up eating in the bar , (same menu) food not much above average but filled a gap, Breakfast made up for it though with usual all you can eat quality affair.
My little moan about the pub doesnt reflect on the Premier Inn no complaints at all (apart from me always mentioning the lack of free wifi). Would stay there again without question.

Room Tip: Resteraunt & bar very busy between19:00 and 21:00
