Owner description: An enchanting place to visit at any time of year. Delve into the beautiful eight acres of Myddelton House Gardens and discover the compelling story of Edward Augustus Bowles, one of Britain’s most famous self-taught gardeners, artists and expert botanists.

Wonderful restoration of Myddelton House Gardens is nothing to do with Spurs! Success is due to a fortunate Heritage Lottery Grant in 2009 and hours of hard work by a dedicated team of gardeners, LV staff andd volunteers.

Used to be quite expensive to get in, with poor facilities. Since Spurs have moved in next door it has become wonderful. Lovely staff, lovely gardens, and the food is very good for a tea room.

We recently visited Myddleton House and Gardens in Enfield, Middlesex for the first time, the original gardens were created by E A Bowles. The gardens were awarded a National Heritage Grant in 2009 and with this help have been restored. We highly recommend a visit to these gardens which are extremely beautiful and tranquil. On our visit in mid January the snowdrops were coming into bloom and as you know gardens are very seasonal and we're sure that whenever you visit there will be different plants and trees in flower or foliage for your enjoyment.
There is a large lake which is one of the main features. The gardens are full of different ornaments, statues and walkways and if you're lucky you may see the Muntjac Deer. There is also a new tea room and kitchen garden which we didn't take advantage of but we intend to on our next visit as it looked very clean and inviting.
All the staff we came into contact with were extremely pleasant, enthusiastic and helpful
