Although we didn't eat there, we did enjoy a FREE wine tasting. The gentleman pouring for us was very knowledgeable about the wines he was pouring. We purchased 2 bottles of wine and drank them on the other side of the restaurant. There IS a corking fee ($10/bottle) if you choose to drink your wine in the store. We had two very comfy couches to sit on, so staying and paying the corking fee was worth it. The staff was very attentive, refilled water, and knew how to properly pour wine for us. That was a nice touch. We will definitely visit again.

This used to be Olde Dominion Wine Shoppe. They have moved down the street and expanded to include a gorgeous bar area and sit down bistro/cafe-type restaurant. There is also seating on an outdoor patio overlooking the Occoquan river, but I will wait to try out that area until the weather turns a little warmer :-)

Their menu is small, but everything is a specialty. My husband, and I have enjoyed everything we have ordered here (devilish eggs, cheese and meat appetizers, beer braised beef sliders, YUM!)

On Sundays they offer a brunch menu along with "Almost Bottomless" mimosas and a Bloody Mary that is made with craft beer (which was surprisingly great!) The service is wonderful. We bring along our 5-year-old - he loves the sliders and their special selection of fizzy pops. They make him feel like he's really special and so he loves to hear when we're going there.

The wine bar/shop used to feature only wines from Virginia, but has now expanded to include wines from around the world. The owners, Kim and Emil, are very knowledgable and able to give you some tasting tips and suggestions.
