We saw one too, reasonable parking fees, friendly staff and a nice stroll. Unfortunately apart from the 1 kingfisher there where not a not of birds out the day we visited, but it was still an enjoyable experience and a good place for kids

Great spot for a stroll on a sunny Sunday afternoon. Nice to see so many people enjoying nature. RSPB shop lots of goodies in it. Please don't feed the swans/ducks etc with bread. The RSPB signs explain it makes them ill. Don't join the brainless few who ignore the signs, chuck their slices of bread into the water and slowly poison the swans.

When ever there is a hot day one of our first thoughts is... lets go for a walk and this place is always a winner!

We usually drive up into the village and park rather than parking at the wildlife building but both ways mean you get to have a good walk. There are many different types of birds and wildlife, We were once walking and talking and a beautiful Deer appeared out of the trees in front of us!

Its a great way to spend an afternoon and the local pub The Three Horse Shoes is a nice place to stop for a drink/food as well!

Good walks, clean toilets, easy car parking (if a bit pricey but worth it), lots of activities for children. Good bird watching hides.
