We had a lovely day at Diggerland. We took our two children, my son aged 5 and my daughter aged 7 and my daughter seemed to love it more than our son! The weather was very hot which helped, all the activities (except a small soft play area) are outside.
It was very quiet to say it was the school holidays, another thing that was a bonus.
We didn't arrive until midday and left around 4.30pm and we had time to go on everything and some things (Spindizzy and the trucks)more than once.
The area where all the rides are is quite small so you don't have to walk very far and you cannot miss anything, it was quite a relaxing place to be.
It was a great opportunity to drive diggers, tipper trucks and was all unique.
The downside was the cafe wasn't very welcoming and the food very fast food and not excellent quality though it was reasonably priced.
We used Tesco vouchers to buy our tickets so it was excellent value but if you paid the £80 ish for a family ticket, I think that is overpriced. There were also a couple of rides, the dodgems and two separate go kart rides which are extra, that should be included.

Excellent, wonderful, awesome I could go on. Having read some of the not so complimentary reviews on here we didn't quite know what to expect, however what we found was just mind blowing. This is basically a big area full of boys toys for kids big and little to get their hands on. Our 5 year old was driving a full sized JCB digger at one point, where else could you get that. We arrived when it opened at 10:00 and didn't leave until easily 15:00 and we only went on one of the rides twice. The staff although young were helpful and knowledgeable and the park ran smoothly. The cafe was very impressive with a 5 on the hygiene rating and good value food, all 4 of us ate a good meal for around the £20 mark, the food was good and well cooked served by lovely staff. At first when you look at the prices for the park entry you can be taken aback at £20 each but we felt it was worth every penny, if you are thinking of going, do it ! Adults get to have a go on everything too !

Considering the rainy weather, I was ready for cancelling the day out, however we went regardless and I am so glad we did!
The thrill was more exciting because of the muddy terrain.
The staff were a credit to your wonderful concept, regardless of the weather they all maintained a a friendly smile and were wonderful with the little ones.
We will deffinetley be comung again!!!!!

What a fantastic place! Great offer (sign up to their Facebook page!) 2 for 1 which meant it cost us 2 x £19.99 instead of 4! My boys were in their element, as to be fair so was my husband....and me!! Loads of rides all using plant machinery to not only power the rides but WERE the rides! Go, its well worth it...more so if you get the pre-booking online discount or one of their offers....enjoy
