We took over the cafe on Saturday night for a hen night. 30 odd of us!
The food was absolutely lovely, from the mixture of starters - especially the minty onions, to the croquettes which were lovely and crunchy on the outside and fluffy in the middle, the meatballs, chicken , seafood - there was not one dish which was a let down
Considering there were only 2 people working theres, they coped very well with us all - rowdy but well behaved bunch that we were!!
Its not licenced, but we all took our own, and used their fridge to store our alcohol in and when I did fancy a soft drink at one point, i thought 99p for a large glass of diet coke was very reasonable.
I would definitely go again for the food, even though it would mean having to drive there from Manchester, but if youre not bothered about drinking and just enjoy nice home cooked food, then go !!
