“Excellent sharing platter, but unsure of service”
Reviewed January 16, 2013

The sharing platter of meats, cheeses etc from the starter menu is absolutely delightful and will stretch to at least three people, four if not too greedy! The staff were very pleasant, but one of our party had a full glass of red wine spilt on him by a waiter who did not offer any recompense by way of reduced bill or an offer of dry cleaning which was a little disappointing. Fortunately, it did not ruin the evening and the rest of the meal was also very enjoyable.

“Lovely meal, good service”
Reviewed December 24, 2012

Ate here a few weeks ago whilst visiting family in the area. We had a lovely three course meal from the set menu which was well worth the price we paid. Very good cocktails! The service was friendly and efficient without being over the top and intrusive. Would definitely go again.

“Good food on a sunday evening”
Reviewed December 11, 2012

Called in here early Sunday after cinema. We had been to a different Tiggis years ago in Blackburn but noticed this one had opened a few months age in a convenient location on the A59 between Preston and Clitheroe. No problem getting a table, loads of room and good large car park. Staff were good and quick. Menus were extensive typical Italian fare. Some unusual options but all the old favorites were there. I had a pizza which was excellent, fresh ingredients and pizza base. Could not fault it. Other half had a ravioli dish which was v good. glass of wine and a beer and soft drink was circa £30 which was reasonable. Interior is clean and inviting and staff were good. Would go again when passing.
