Went to the Maida during the x mas week. Arrived with 4 guests, on presentation from the outside it looked nice. On entry it was more like a canteen. The service was appalling, the waiters and hosts couldnt string more than a few words of english. The table which was reserved was lob sided and moved. It lacked any real character and there was no urgency from the hosts to make you feel welcome or special.
The real disgrace was the food, the papadoms where stale, the chicken curry was below average, the lamb curry was hardly any meat as it was all masala, the fish curry was to dry. The food was below average in terms of taste and presentation and portion size was very minimal. I will not be eating out at thsi place again as me and the guests suffered tummy upsets afterwards. One of my guests orderded lamb biryani which was so greasy it had oil floating at the bottom, it was a disgrace calling such a royal dish biryani the nawabs of india would be rolling in thier graves. Avoid this place....Very expensive as well.
