Modern rooms, well appointed. Very friendly staff. Beautiful terrace area. Excellent views over the lake. Would recommend trying the BBQ, which happened to be set up our first night. Breakfast is worth it. Dinner we found reasonable but our mains took 45 minutes and were way overpriced and we resorted to ordering pizza delivery a couple of nights for the convenience.

Wonderful hotel from the kind and efficient staff, to the wonderful rooms, great restaurant, and added bonuses that make you feel like you are in a home away from home. Loved the Nespresso in my room, the balcony to sit on overlooking Lake Zurich, and the use of the hotel car to do touristy things! Wonderful hotel - can't say enough great things!

Very nice hotel that shows indeed Swiss quality that can be seen in the rooms, the service and last but not least the quality of the food at the restaurant which is supberb.
Has nice gym facilities but could add a few more equipment such as an additional treadmill and/or crosswalker.

The unusual architecture of Hotel Belvoir is the first giveaway; overlooking Lake Zurich this beautifully appointed hotel can boast of its fine staff, excellent cuisine, beautiful service, prompt response to their guests particular requests and thoughtful touches. All of this adds up to a luxurious stay.
It should be noted, however, that the terrace separations between the rooms do not lend themselves to any privacy whatsoever, and my companions and I found the bathroom setup with the WC and shower in separate compartments (not to mention the sink/makeup area) quite awkward and uncomfortable. (Opaque doors do not add to personal privacy, either....)
However--on the distinct plus side is the great working area, the beautiful scenic lake, the unusual amenities (like binoculars, canvas bag, robes), the reliable Wifi, and the swift response to whatever we required.

Hotel Belvior is outside of central Zurich in a little town called Rüschlikon. It's always a pleasure staying there. First the rooms I believe all have a balcony overlooking the lake, which is breathtakingly gorgeous (especially while lying in bed or having breakfast outside) They offer a breakfast buffet, a business lunch, and fine dining at night with a sun terrace above the lake of Zurich. They have a bar that's open until midnight for those that need a night cap and there is a bowling alley for entertainment. The spa/gym is very pleasant with new equipment and nice spa amenities(outdoor jacuzzi, sauna,steam room ect.) There's a clean bus that picks up out front of the hotel that can take you to the center very quickly for about 14 Francs I believe.
