Salento is located in what is known as El Malecón (esplanade along the river). Though they serve a couple of other dishes like salads and hamburgers, they specialize in pizzas and that is the only food I’ve had there.
The pizzas are very good, thin crusted and large enough for two unless you are very hungry or have walked for 5 hours doing the Camino. Some of the flavors are uncommon and sometimes canned ingredients (i.e. mushrooms) are favored over fresh ones. If you are in doubt ask. You can also create your own flavor, starting from scratch and adding the ingredients you prefer. Décor is nothing to write home about but in all but the coldest months you will most likely be seated outside so it becomes irrelevant. Service is good and there is a will to please but it can be a bit slow when crowded.
Considering the size of the Pizzas and that prices start at about 6 euros, this place is fast-food cheap.
You can order to.
