“Great setting and wonderful food”
Reviewed June 27, 2013

What a lovely setting this is, we sat in the courtyard in the main entrance of this restaurant. Great surroundings and lovely ambience. We all agreed the food was good. Best grilled skate I have had. We had children with us and they had a good spaghetti and and ice cream. A high chair was available. The waiter was very welcoming to them. Other food highlights were the fillet steak and mixed grill. For 4 adults all with starters, mains, desserts, coffee and 2 children main and ice cream. Wine and a couple of glasses of cava. 158 euros (not inc service)

Pals is a lovely town and I feel this place captured the beauty of it.

“Memorable romantic dinner in Pals”
Reviewed June 26, 2013

We were a group of two couples: we older folks taking our young newly-wed friends out to dinner. We happened upon El Pedro while visiting Pals at sunset. We were greeted courteously by the son of the chef, who told us, smiling, "My mother is cooking tonight, you are lucky!" We sat inside, though the night was warm, to avoid a few smokers on the terrace, but the very pretty atmosphere in the rooms, and the views of the old village from the windows were really lovely. The waiter spoke Catalan to our young woman friend, who was born and raised in Barcelona. We were all happy with our dinners. We had appetizers -- wonderful Gazpacho and salads. Bread was served gratis, with mild light green olive oil that was so good, our Catalan friend asked where to buy it. We shared a liter of delicious Sangria, and we all had perfectly-cooked meat entrees -- lamb, pork or beef, which were served with excellent vegetables. Grilled eggplant was especially good. We shared one perfectly-made flan. We were all stunned when our bill was 80 Euros. It was our last night in Spain and couldn't have been better. Thank you, El Pedro. We will never forget that dinner.

“Nice service and atmosphere, bland food”
Reviewed June 26, 2013

A very nice restaurant in a beautiful village, nice service, low prices, but very plain food, I would recommend they hire a chef.

“Amazing !”
Reviewed May 31, 2013

Myself and my husband ate here recently and I had to put a review on about it, honestly so so good. I had the pate to start and wow loved it my other half had the peppers stuffed with cod and again could not fault them. Our mains were monkfish and mixed grill which included some yummy rabbit pork and loads other stuff all of which were cooked brilliantly. The service was brilliant friendly and informative when we asked about wine his suggestion was not based on price but what he thought would be nice with our meal which we were chuffed with ! ! The price for 2 glasses of Cava, a bottle of wine 2 starters and 2 mains and 2 deserts was only €77 which we thought was brilliant value. Hope you enjoy !

“Very good lunch in the middle of old Pals”
Reviewed July 10, 2012

Surprisingly good lunch in a nice and clean restaurant with nice and promptly service. They have a very good bargain of lunch. The interior are rustic and you can also eat outsides on 3-4 tables. We surely go there again.
