This is a wonderful spot on the promenade of Blanes just by the rock. The decor and ambience are excellent and it is good place to sit and have a drink as the world goes by. We also had dinner here but the food was not as good as the venue deserves.

We were lucky that we discovered Es Blanc during a short break in the sun on our very first day, when we stopped by for a lunchtime drink and snack. Seated at an outdoor table we were enchanted by the sea view made even more relaxing by the ambient music playing [unabrusively] in the background - after enjoying salmon sandwiches and cheese tostado we resolved to give the restaurant menu a try for our evening meal.
Arriving around 19:00 we were greeted in perfect English by a charming young lady [it later transpired she was pretty handy at several other languages] who informed us that the Evening Menu did not start until 20:00 [the Spanish are late diners]. After chilling over a bottle of rose we were ready to order as soon as evening service commenced - main courses were reasonably price at 10 - 20 euro - overall, garlic bread followed by 2 mains [ the fillet steak pieces in foie gras sauce was to die for] finished off with fresh figs in brandy and a chocolate brownie all swilled down with a second bottle of rose and cups of coffee came to surprisingly less than 60 euro!
We had a most enjoyable evening - so much so that we returned for an encore [equally enjoyable] before returning home from our short break in the sun !
