Less than an hour from Barcelona, this garden is well worth visiting. The variety of plants covering various vegetation groups from the five continents are presented in aesthetically cultivated areas covering about 10 acres, accentuated with beautiful views of the Mediterranean. There is a lovely route mapped out which will cover all the highlights but one must be prepared to do a fair bit of walking with quite a few ups and downs. If your into plants and even if not, it is certainly worthwhile to visit let alone for the views. One thing which we personally did not care for is that they have a captive Macaw which is handed around like a rag to people in order to have a picture taken. It's a bad money scheme and should be ignored.
