This restaurant is not in a prominent location, but is certainly worth finding. We had the most wonderful lunch here, which we thoroughly enjoyed. Whilst it was very busy, the ebb & flow of conversation from the different tables really added to the relaxed and convivial atmosphere; and the service was attentive and informative.
The menu was more fish orientated, but not exclusively - we shared the Arroz Negro which is a rice dish where the rice is dyed black with squid ink - It was delicious. The whole experience was very satisfying, and we would welcome the opportunity to return and sample the other delights on the menu.
Apart from the excellent food, two other things also impressed, being the wine selection we were recommended that went so well with the meal; and the discerning layout of the restaurant. There were a number of families in the restaurant, and the proprietors are to be congratulated on creating a truly impressive gastronomic experience where adults, families and children seem to blend in so well.
