great bars service, good food, good accommodation, right on the beach and hours of glorious sun and walking. And a fantastic gym. 3 pools and kids slide with pool entertainment funny. Night entertainment was okay (likeable) and we will certainly think hard about not coming back here, it was really good. But the blonde haired restaurant manageress across the road beside etc mother pool (next to gym), so sour face and angry. Kept asking me for proof of armband (kept in pocket because I'm allergic

Hotel recently refurbished. Good standard of rooms available and comfortable. Balcony a bit on small side. Pool area very good, plenty of sun beds and shade. Pool great size, so plenty of room for both kids and adults. Restaurant and food quality very good (you will definitely not go hungry - don't understand previous negatives?) Restaurant can get busy in the mornings towards the end of breakfast but staff very helpful sorting out everyone. Options for dinner and/or lunch available and both excellent choices. (Saturday sea food options excellent). Bar area open and fresh. Staff attentive. Fairly good entertainment program in place. Something to suit everyone. Plenty of praise to staff - reception excellent. Location short walk to beach and choice of restaurants/bars. More selection in centre of Cambrils or Salou. (20-30 min stroll). Would recommend for families or couples.

My daughter and I have just returned from a wonderful 1 week stay in H10 Cambrils Playa. We arrived on the 26th May 2017 & checked out on the 2nd June 2017. My daughter booked this hotel for me as a gift for Mother's Day and I'm glad she did.

We arrived at the hotel just after 12 noon and when you get a bus transfer they drop you off at the Estival Centurion and you have to walk up the street, as the hotel has a side entrance. On entering the hotel you are greeted with a modern and elegant lobby area that has an amazing mirrored ceiling and dark marble floors, that are spotlessly clean. All the decor is light and airy to match with tone of the hotel. Reception are very helpful with any queries and are multilingual which is great. Our room wasn't ready when we arrived so the lady behind the desk stored our luggage, and told us to come back at 2pm. We took this as an opportunity to have a good look around and scope out the hotel. We had some lunch at the 'La Choza Snack Bar' which is great for a light lunch and refreshments and also isn't badly priced either - they cater for all allergies so just make sure you tell reception when you arrive, and then let the restaurant know at night and they are so helpful.

Pool area is big with plenty of sun beds and parasols for those who like the shade. We had no problem reserving are loungers and parasol in morning just before breakfast. One thing to note is the hotel says no large inflatables in the pool, but there was doughnut rings and shark and crocodile lilos while we were there.

Our room was on the 3rd floor no. 334 and it was a street view with balcony, and was very quiet at all times which was perfect. Beds were big - a bit hard but reasonable. The room itself had been refurbished with natural tones of white and cream, so it was very fresh. Bathroom was again spotless and our towels were changed everyday even when you didn't ask - beds changed every 3 days, so top marks to the maids and cleaners who were excellent. The room has a fridge of which you can use free of charge and has plenty of storage space, and a safe but to use you need to deposit 10€ of which you get back at the end of your stay. Also you can rent a kettle for 3€ a day or 15€ a week but we didn't bother.

Breakfast is from 8-10AM which was fantastic for us, but might not be suitable for those who have babies or toddlers. Continental style, buffet breakfast with a Spanish twist in the morning, you won't starve and even the fussiest of eaters will find something. We stayed half board which was more than enough - in fact when we book next year we're only booking B&B as breakfast was the best meal time! Dinner was open from 7.30-10PM and was buffet style again, and very Spanish with lots of fish but that's only to be expected, as Cambrils is a fishing port and is known for its fresh fish! The dinner can sometimes be cold, but there are two microwaves at the far end of the restaurant to heat it up, as the heated dishes can only keep so much of the food hot. Drinks in the hotel aren't badly priced either, at dinner a large bottle of water costs 1.40€ which isn't bad!

Next door to the hotel is Bus ticket centre and a super friendly supermarket of which is cheap enough and you can get home comforts as well as foods you don't get at home.

TIP: Get the bus card from the shop next door you get 10 tickets on it for 15.50€ and once used top up is only 12€. 1 card was used for myself and my daughter, so you don't have to buy a card each so it's economically priced. There's a bus stop directly outside the hotel which takes you into Cambrils in less than 10minutes, or if your feeling adventurous you could walk or cycle which would take about 45minutes. Definitely take the bus to Cambrils as it's a beautiful place to visit and I wish we had used it more than the 2 nights that we did!

Cambrils is clean, classy and a bit posh but not in a snobby type of way. There aren't to many 'tacky' shops but more boutique clothing and jewellery stores, so I suggest you pack light and save a bit of dough cause when you see what they have to offer you'll nearly buy everything!
The restaurants again are very fish based as on the opposite side of the road is the port with the 'yachts' all lined up. However, there are some lovely little Italian pizzerias and pasta places. I would recommend the 'La Tagitella' for some mouthwatering pastas, fresh salads and delicious pizzas! Oh and don't forget to try some gelato if you haven't already!

When arriving back at the hotel the entertainment was in full swing, in the bar area of the hotel. Quizzes, Spanish dancing, live singing and a mini disco for the kids was just some the entertainment we had on offer! Sergio is a fantastic and wonderfully kind waiter who knew our order by the 4th night, 5 star customer service from him, just amazing.

If you ask reception the night before you leave, if you can have breakfast before your due to check out, its no problem at all.

I would highly recommend this hotel as the location was great, staff were wonderful and the food was plentiful - I can not find a fault with it and I trust the H10 hotel group with any further stays of mine.

I have already began looking dates for next year and I shall hopefully see everyone in the H10 Cambrils Playa next May 2018!

Just returned after a week in Costa Dorada at this amazing hotel. Clean tidy and pleasant and friendly staff. Couldn't fault anything. Pool is fab. Kids had so much fun. Don't understand anyone who has not rated this hotel top marks.

Reception was a little slow but very efficient. Room wasn't ready due to early morning flight but that didn't matter we had a drink the the lovely relaxing bar area. Luggage was left in a locked room and a ticket attached to cases and a copy given to us for collection. Room was exceptionally clean with nice bright white bedding. Plenty of wardrobe and drawer space. Huge bath towels which were changed each day and toiletries replenished too. Room kept clean all week by the wonderful cleaning ladies. Top marks to them. Waiting staff in the dinning area were efficient and always had a smile and a few words for guests. Rafael was always smiling and asking how our day was and was keen to improve his English and would always correct my Spanish, for which I was grateful. Pool area was never overly busy and plenty of sunbeds. Pool Bar served good food at lunchtime and was not expensive. There was an incident in the reception area when an elderly French lady tripped over the weighing scales . My husband and I went to her aid as did a other couple. Reception were informed and came to the lady's aid. Not sure about their first aid skills. I asked her if she wanted the doctor but she said no. A young lady from the reception spoke fluent French and did make an ice pack for the lady's shoulder. We all tried our best to make her comfortable. We noticed the next day the scales had been moved to where the luggage room was..Buse's stopped outside the hotel to Cambrils and at the other side of the road to Salou. Although a lovely walk into Salou. Definitely recommend this wonderful hotel, food and the friendliness and efficiency of all the staff.
