My wife and I had a wonderful meal in La Sirena. We hadn't booked but the manager found us a table and made sure we were happy with its location. The service was very friendly but efficient and knowledgeable. We left the wine choice to the manager as we wanted something to go well with the black rice, and the Verdejo was perfect. We started with a shared plate of grilled peppers and aubergines which were excellent. But the star was the black rice paella - one of our favorites - but this was special. Big clams, mussels, prawns and langoustine, rich squid ink and squid, and lobster legs to add even more flavour. The manager informed us that the stock he uses is from monkfish heads. Really, really good. We are going back later in the week. A lovely little restaurant which we highly recommend.

We loved the fish stew! More than enough for two. A memorable dinner. Wonderful service! We drank the wine recommendation and were pleased with that as well. We would come for a return visit both to Cadaques and to LaSirena!

We stayed in Cadaques for two nights in early/mid September and visited La Sirena based on Trip Advisor recommendations. It was the most expensive meal of our 10-day stay in Catalonia but worth it given the quality of the food. My partner chose the steak, which was nothing short of heavenly; I stuck to fish, which was delicious. Even though it's no longer peak season and it was a weekday, it still got very busy and they looked to be turning people away by about 8.45pm, so probably best to book for weekends! Overall, a lovely last evening!

We visited on the basis of trip advisor recommendations. We had a lovely evening. The owner was very friendly and helpful in explaining the menu. The food was delicious. The clam starter and the fish stew with potatoes were excellent. We went on a monday evening in early September and the restaurant was full by 9pm. Although there were others wanting tables towards the end of the meal we were not hurried and encouraged to enjoy the food and wine. It is quite a small restaurant and so booking is recommended.

We have been to Sirena twice during our stay in Cadaques. The restaurant is kind of small ( I would say around 40 seats) so a reservation is strongly suggested. The atmosphere is very nice and the staff friendly and capable of speaking several languages. Over our 2 visits, we tasted the zarzuela and two different kind of Paella and they were delicious (without mentioning being real people portion size) as well as few different seafood appetizers. We also had plenty of Sangria and it was amazing. Price was between 30 and 40 Euro per person which seemed fine considering quality and quantity of the food. During my stay, I ate also at Compartir, El gato Azul, La Cala, El Pescador and Pim-Pam and I would say " La Sirena" was definitely the best one.
