WE have been visiting Can Rafa 3 years ago first time as it was advised by our guide book. It was end September and we saw other cafes and restaurants being half empty but not Can Rafa, we were very lucky to get the table as we didnt make a reservation.
This time we booked a table and it was the right decision as al tables were busy as last time and Cadaques itself was more crowded probably because of the great weather and beginning of September.
The restaurant is not cheap and exist many years. When go to the toilette upstairs have a look at the pictures on the wall of a very young owner fishing to understand he knows fish and seafood perfectly:)
Fresh fish and seafood, perfect paella and feduilla, good local wine, perfect service. Better to take dishes of the day (we had razor clams, small clams, small local shrimps and dorada - all perfect).
We didnt regret we have came back there and enjoyed the food and service!!!
