Stayed in a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment on one of the upper floors, so the view was spectacular but the large balcony felt safe as there is a small garden in front of it, so you cannot look directly down. The accommodation is clean with large flat screen televisions in the lounge and both bedrooms. The restaurants are plentiful, so there is no real need to leave the complex if you don't have a car. The restaurant prices are less than, say, Marbella, or Albir on mainland Spain. If you do have a car there is a Dino supermarket in the local village where the prices are better than the onsite Spar. However, the Spar is handy for essentials if you are eating out most of the time anyway.

We enjoyed the Indian restaurant just outside the security area, near the port. The weather is mild even in December but most evenings we just chilled out in the apartment and called room service. I think there is a choice of Pizza or Chinese.

The animation team offered us archery and scuba diving, but were not persistent. We took the ferry from the resort to Mogan which is a pretty area to while away a few hours shopping and lunching near the sea.

All in all, we are looking for a return trip soon.

Room Tip: The higher you are, the better the view.

We have been timeshare owners here since 2007, we love the place, it really is first class, but....... when are the reps going to cotton on to the fact that if we need something we will contact them, please stop phoning us constantly at 0800 in the morning, leaving messages to contact them etc etc. If I want more timeshare or anything else for that matter I will hunt down a rep and talk to them about it, please please please stop bugging us. It is the same every time we visit Anfi, the reps will not leave us alone! OK, got that off my chest now, the rest of the holiday was great, we had two teenage boys with us and they were occupied the whole time and went to bed knackered every evening. They were snorkelling, swimming, footballing, playing tennis, ping pong and simply enjoying everything that the resort and its excellent facilities have to offer. They also enjoyed some of the water sports on offer at the excellent resort beach which has been made up of imported white soft sand. The only negative parts of the holiday (apart from the vulture like reps) were the on-site Mexican restaurant, El Posada, very poor food and very very expensive. This restaurant has gone downhill in the past few years and I don't think we will visit it again in a hurry. We enjoyed the convenience of the Ferry stop right outside the resort and went on trips to Puerto de Mogan and Arguineguin, very convenient and great fun, apart from the pushy idiots trying to swamp the gangway before the crew had even installed it properly! The restaurant "Marao" right beside the ferry jetty does an excellent buffet breakfast with champagne and everything else you can imagine, bacon, eggs, sausages, muffins, honey etc etc etc etc etc, the choice was fantastic and you can eat as much as you like for under 10 Euro's ahead, great value and a good place to spend an hour prior to jumping on the ferry for a stroll round the market at Puerto de Mogan on a Friday morning. Great resort, lovely facilities, great choice of restaurants. One word of warning, the on-site Spar supermarket is nicknamed "Harrods" for a good reason, it is extortionate. You are far better taking the time to pop along to the Spar in nearby Patalavaca or Arguineguin where you will pick up most stuff at half the price of "Harrods" - the resort is superb and the gardens, marina and Plaza area are beautifully maintained. Looking forward to our next visit.

Room Tip: Higher floors provide stunning views across the bay, low level floors have no view at all.

Have been owners here since 2000 and have enjoyed many holiday here as my 2 kids grew up.
Not much has changed with the quality, it's great and a spotlessly clean resort and very handy with lively Puerto Rico nearby. The beach is super, white imported Caribbean sand and safe bathing areas with jet-ski's etc on hand too.
Food & drink on resort is expensive and not very varied but for lunch, it's fine! 2 Spar supermarkets are on resort. They are a tad overpriced but well stocked. Nearby supermarkets in Arguineguin or Puerto Rico are far better value but we tend to eat out on hols so it's just brekkie stuff, water & drinks we mainly buy.
You'll love the Anfi resort but reps ARE like an earlier reviewer pointed out '1980's type, desperate, Arfur Daly type salespeople' (and still selling/showing people round THIRTEEN YEARS after they told us they were fully sold up!) This would also explain why you cannot usually get your desired week/s or resort despite booking well in advance!
If you do come here, expect top notch rooms and surroundings but not so great customer service!

Room Tip: Go high for the views. All rooms have same quality & are all tranquil.

I have been coming here for the past 10 years in a row. It just keeps getting better and better. Monte Anfi is by far the best with a range of pools and the finest rooms. I have just recently been again. There is a mini market below for food and a plaza for shopping. Lots of food shops and things to do. There are 4 kids clubs on the resort so you kids can do activities such as archery, have parties, drawing watching films which gives you time to relax. I love it and would go back many more times!

Room Tip: The bottom floor are the best!

stayed at the monte anfi as my friend has time share there. I must say this was first class! The apartment had a huge sitting room come kitchen with all mod cons, ceramic hob, combi microwave, wide screen tv all in first class condition and looked very clean and new. Huge bedroom with jaccuzi bath, big bathroom and a big veranda. There was good security, good choice of pools and the overall state of cleanliness was excellent. Outwith the security area there were shops, market stalls and places to eat.
I cant fault Monte Anfi in any way, however as I like to visit new places each year I don't think time share is for me. On the positive side this was a superb resort for old or young if you are looking to chill out.

My parents own a time-share at Club Monte Anfi and this was our third visit in the 15 years they've had it. The complex is fantastic and the views across the bay are incredible, we were lucky to be on the 8th floor so lots to see. The appartments are spacious, clean and comfortable - the jacuzzi bath a novelty! There is plenty on offer to do, the mini golf is good but they charge according to height so my average height son of 11 still had to pay the adult price the member of staff here wasn't too friendly either. Reception and restaurant staff were very polite and friendly though. The Spar mini-supermarket is well equipped but quite expensive. The buffet each evening at Anfi Beach is amazing with a huge selection and good value for money, eat as much as you like! Table tennis bats and ball are available from reception for two hours for a ten euro returnable deposit, also a pool table by the bar. My only 'niggle' was having to get down to the pool early (ie before 8am) to be able to get enough sunbeds together by the pool but I guess at peak time perhaps it's like this everywhere?! Overall a lovely place to stay.

Room Tip: Floors 3 or 4 and above have better views.

We have just arrived from Canary Islands where we stayed at Club Monte Anfi (Family of 2 adults and 1 child and our friend with a baby). Our friend has a timeshare ownership at this place and we found it very nice. We stayed in 2 bedrooms apartement with 2 bathrooms and a large terrace. Room and all areas of the hotel were absolutely clean. Equipment of the kitchen and bathroom was new and reliable (dishwasher and washing mashine working properly). Plenty of swimming pools with slides for children is a big advantage. White sand beach just about 100 metres away also very clean and large enough. Definitely reccommend this place to the other travellers especialy to families with children.

Room Tip: All rooms have ocean view and are all nice.
