“Great location between town and dunes”

Renovated in recent years to a high standard, this is a great villa for a relaxing holiday in the sun. It is located right on the edge of Corralejo - the nearest mini supermarket is about 15 minutes walk one way and the sand dunes start 2 minutes the other way (though it's a further 10-15 minutes from there to the point where it's beach sand right down to the water rather than rocks). To get the most out of it you probably want to hire a car, it's easy to park on the street right outside the villa and then it's only 5 minutes drive to the centre of the town for larger shops or to the big hotels in the middle of the grandes playas.

The villa faces west, so it takes til lunchtime before the sun reaches the pool and patio (though of course you have the roof terrace which is sunny all day), but then the patio faces the sunset so you can eat out there in the evening no problem. The pool was quite cold but good for a cooling dip after sunbathing - it would be worth getting it heated if you're there for a longer stay.

The property was clean and generally well maintained, the beds comfortable (both in the bedroom and on the roof), and the kitchen well equipped with plenty of pots and pans, cutlery, plates, glasses and even mugs and a kettle. There was a tea towel, washing up liquid and dishwashing sponge provided, which was a nice touch as I have had to go out and buy those when staying in other similar places.

There is a connecting door between this villa and the one next door both inside and on the roof terrace, so larger groups can rent both together and share the pool.

One thing to note if you arrive late in the evening (as we did) then you will need to go to the office in Corralejo the following day to deal with the paperwork.

Overall, a great location if you want somewhere quiet and out of the way, and don't mind driving to shops and attractions. Maybe less appropriate if you're looking for more vibrant nightlife, but it suited our needs well.

“Perfect for family holiday”

The villa was beautiful!! It feels quiet private & the rooms were all very clean, I'm very particular about hygiene so I was happy. The service was great through vacanzy rentals. I think the kitchen was bigger than expected & was well equipped The sofa bed was very comfortable for our teenage son.
It's right across from the best beach (the other beaches were a bit dangerous)
The pool is small but was perfect for our younger kids but I would recommend having it heated as it made a huge difference & our kids stayed in until nightfall!
We didn't use the above terrace as we have smaller kids but it can get quiet breezy up there so bring something warm for the evenings
We rented a car (very cheap to rent) so it was only a five minute drive to the centre. It's a 15 minute walk or a €4 taxi fare.

I would highly recommend this villa!!
