We (me and my spouse) stayed in this apartment for nearly one month and left it today with very mixed feelings. On one hand, it was very easy to book the apartment, the owner offered us a generous discount even though we did not ask for any - isn't it a perfect attitude towards the guests? The complex is a real paradise on earth - very beautiful and picturesque lanscape perfectly looked after every day, nice and perfectly clean swimming pools, you should be here to appreciate it all! The apartment is 100% as described, really nice! But now we come to the downsides, which are also many. Firstly, the Wi-Fi is not just slow, it is virtuallly non-existent - we had to buy an Orange SIM card to get a decent wi-fi at about EUR 9 per GB. Secondly, when we arrived to Fuerteventura, it was a great hassle to pick the keys up, let alone getting directions to the apartment, we ended up getting a message through WhatsApp from the person responsible that we should drive to the complex, find the apartment numbered "F306" (mind that the complex is rather large, and we arrived with 4 suicases to carru them through that large area withpout any help), then find the keys under a stone nearby the entrance door, and get in! A perfect way to meet and greet guests, isn't it? OK, a few days later Mr Jean-Pierre (the person responsible) did not forget to come along and pick up the security deposit (EUR 100), and we made firm arrangements for our check-out at 10:45 a.m. as we had a taxi booked for 11:00 to the airport. The day before our departure, I messaged Mr. Jean-Pierre to confirm our agreement, which he did. On the day of our departure, Mr. Jean-Pierre was not there at 10:45 as agreed, nor at 11:00 when the taxi was scheduled. The taxi arrived 30 minutes late, and so arrived Mr. Jean-Pierre - 45 minutes late, very much surprised to see us still there, and thus obliged to return the security depossit of EUR 100. Now, please get me right - I don't mean to accuse nobody of anything, I just tell our story, facts and only facts. My overall opinio is - the accomodation is excellent for the price, the owner is a fine and generous person to deal with, but the field responsible (Mr. Jean-Pierre) is not a man that I would like to have any dealings with in the future. Sorry, but that is that.
