Came for a week in June with Hubby and our two kids (7 and 2yrs old). We all had a fantastic time. Hotel was lovely, location was great. Our room was basic but that didn't matter as it was only used to sleep in. The food was great with a huge selection. Staff friendly and helpful. Would recommend, and can't wait to return.

Was really looking forward to our holiday here . Only good thing about it was leaving .food was repetitive and bland you would often have to queue for 10 mins just for a pork chop cooking. Staff were nice to be fair but not enough of them at busy times . Beds made but never changed in 11 nights , entertainment on a night was poor ,things like fans, extra towels were 40 euros to hire which when your all inclusive you don't expect .a couple who were still there when we left told us someone left a ( little parcel ) in the pool . The staff fished it out and just put a bag of salt in the water . REALLY REALLY AVOID

First impression of hotel reception was lovely and clean - marble floors gleaming, likewise in dining hall. Arrived late on the Monday night (staying for 1 week) so had dinner, (all inclusive) was perplexed as to why the drinks selection was at one end of the dining hall far away from the food. Food wasn't great but we put it down to the fact it was towards the end of the service.
Room was nothing to get excited about 2 single beds pushed together in the bedroom and 2 smaller beds in the front room, bathroom was of a decent size, but noticed when door was shut how the frame looked like had been chewed down the bottom. Also room had ants in which wasn't pleasant, and the state of our children's feet after coming out the showing and walking to the bedroom was disgusting, floors were filthy.
NO Air Con in the rooms either and in the heat we had it was unbearable, reception had fans to rent out at 12 euros a week with a 25 euro deposit. But for the first 3 days of our stay they had none available as were all loaned out !!! When I went to complain about lack of air con I was told they were an eco friendly island and that's why there hotel didn't have it ! I have since spoken to others who have stayed in different hotels and they have advised they had air con so a lie there from the staff, and also if this was the case they wouldn't have fans full stop - just a money spinning event from them.
Hotel has 2 big pools and one tiny one for babies, but only 1 lifeguard working them all, and on numerous occasions it was pointed out how he was never at his station but at the bar and one occasion he was seen walking form the bar with 3 beers !!!
The food was below average, variety was poor and poor selection for children. We had paid for all inc and on our last day was told we weren't allowed to go into the restaurant as our all inc had ceased !! even though we had only had one meal on the day we arrived !! when I approached the manager about this she advised we could use the snack bar but that was all ! disgraceful really esp when we've paid a lot of money for this.
Of an evening the bar closed at 11pm and if you wanted another drink you had to buy it !! how is this all inclusive ??
Entertainment was OK - Thomas Cook for the kids which was a blessing getting them out the intense heat for 4 hours a day.
Evening entertainment by hotel was average, but something to do.
wouldn't recommend this place - certainly advise people to look at other options on the island especially as how rude the manageress was when confronted about the meals. left a bitter taste in mouth.

Room Tip: Choose A Different Hotel on the Island

Just got back after a week here. Had a nice time! After reading reviews daily I was worried! The Pools, bar (4 drinks) getting sun loungers together were fine. Few early risers with towels but not us. Rooms were spacious, clean, basic & very dated my tall 14 year old slept on the smaller bed & fitted fine although beds were not too good had one out of 4 that was comfy. My bathroom room was vile but I just seen it as base as long as we could shower and sleep that's fine! Our friends bathrooms were fine tho! We were by the baby pool and it was lovely, also quiet on the night but it's a sun trap no shade so it was like a sauna in the room. We had to wait two days for a fan & still had doors open but it did the job brill! FOOD.. I know it's a 3 ⭐️, I'm not fussy BUT the food was hit & miss Personally I didn't enjoy lunch & dinner, very repetitive and bland but breakfast was ok! Snack bar wasn't too bad. Chefs did work extremely hard tho!! Our highlight .. We did the waterpark 3 days which was brilliant, towns lovely, nice places to eat/drink all very short walk, supermarket opposite and we often visited grande playas (Rui hotel) beach which was about 6 Euro in the taxi each way. Its beautiful lovely sand and clear blue sea! Our local beach by the Waikiki bar had slight sandy shore was bit rocky and seaweed but it is next to the marina! lots of lovely fish close to shore so good for snorkel I imagine! There was 11 of us inc 7 children and we enjoyed the pool at the hotel and did a couple of days round it and really enjoyed it. Considering it was peak the pools were never overcrowded. Personally I wouldn't stay at this hotel again I only booked for the waterpark acsess unfortunately for me it was the food and the rooms) but all in all we did have a great time other than that! (but just to add we had cleaners every day until the last day, had to ask for extra towels but not a problem) market on Tue&Fri
