JUST BACK ON 15TH JAN AFTER 2 WEEKS AND WHAT A TIME WE HAD AT THE OASIS VILLAGE.The hotel is a 3 star so you only get what you paid for and my family had no complaints as the place was kept spotless along with the rooms, fresh sheets and towels every 2nd day.The food was lovely always something to eat as there was a lot on trip advisor complaining about the food, but we had no problems as we ate in the hotel apart from 2 dinners as we went out to the retro bar.The Thomas cook entertainment staff where fantastic as work really hard to please everyone,Dan,Stef,John,Gemma,Blair and Mel make a great team as work really well together and try their best to get everyone involved, they did make us laugh with the singing and dancing, fair play to them.Overall we had a lovely time and will be booking for theend of the year and hopefully see all the lovely people we met as planned

Room Tip: higher fllors have less traffic and noise

For the second year running I have just returned from Oasis Dunas Village in Corralejo
Fuerteveventura. It was really good value last January but this year it is better than good
it was great.Their was 12 people this year and everyone one of them said what a great week.
The main difference was that one of the three pools was heated (last year was very cold )
which made a great difference.
Also the food was much better and hotter with more choice. We were informed that they had employed a new chef.
The apartments have been re furbished to a much better standard than previously and are
kept clean and tidy.
We spent 4 nights in a bar with great entertainment called Robins Nest. All english artists and
Robin the owner makes sure you are really looked after..All I can say is, this a great value holiday, great weather, great staff at the village, we will all be back again next year.
With regards to the Dunas I e mailed them before we went to check if the pool would be heated this year .They e mailed me back to say it would be 23 degrees and true to their word it was exactly that .Thanks and well done all staff members at the Dunas.for a great holiday again.

Mr and Mrs Syd Clayton and all party members.

Room Tip: Ground floor rooms are better it saves climbing the stairs if you are elderly It is only 2 stories...

Just returned from Oasis Village after spending 2 weeks there over Christmas. Was very impressed by the variety & quality of food, plenty of choice, always hot. Particularly enjoyed the theme nights of Chinese, Indian & Canary meals. The staff work incredibly hard and provide a great service. The only disappointment for us was the entertainment, the ents staff are uninspiring and the games noisy and boring, the acoustics in the main bar area are appalling making it very difficult to hear clearly what is going on. However, we (2 adults, 4 kids ) found a much better option. We went into 'The French Room' next to the main bar, where we found the 2 guys Salim & Adnan to be more than helpful and entertaining. They played great music and Adnan taught us some dances. They are great guys and made us feel very welcome. They should be running more of the entertainment.

Check in was fine.. Rooms spacious and clean could maybe do with a revamp, beds were really hard and bottom sheet never stayed on. Food you would never go hungry but could have more selection of meals as we got bored of the same. Beer must be watered down from drinking all day/night didn't even get tipsy, vodka smelt like nail polish remover. Nights entertainment could do with a few professionals instead of one per week. Reps are very enthusiastic. Overall we had a good holiday as it is what you make of it but we will not be returning.

Dear Sir,

Firstly we would like to thank you for choosing our establishment to spend your holidays.
I would like to say that we are really sorry if your stay in Oasis Village did not covered your expectations.

Regarding to your comments, in our restaurant buffet, there are, in daily basis, different choices available (we follow a fortnightly menu).
Our cuisine is international but focused, mainly, to Mediterranean food.
It is our aim to provide our customers the best experience during their holidays. In order to improve our catering services, a well-known Executive Chef has started working with us from the end of December (please bear in mind that he needs sometime to do the necessary changes...)

In any case, we appreciate you comments and, undoubtedly, we will take them into consideration.

Hoping to see you again at Oasis Village.

Best regards

We stayed here for Xmas and new yr,I found all the staff to be pleasant and polite the rooms are spacious and had sheet and towel changes regular,it's not rocket science if they need changing leave them on the bathroom floor.the food was not the best we have had for a 3* but we didn't starve some of the meat was undercooked and the chips were hard every time and not much of a selection for kids.we didn't find that only having two drinks at a time a problem and if you were in the bar before 9.pm you got glasses and then we kept them all night.danielle the TC Rep was lovely and very helpfull, the main thing is the entertainment was not for us,kids disco, quiz, bingo reps trying to sing and act although you can't knock their enthusiasm the same every night gets boring, this hotel needs more than one professional entertainment a week.overall it's SOME parents that let this hotel down one night there was a fight in the bar with kids and parents all over a game of pool,it was the reps night off but the barmen soon broke it up,also kids were fighting during the day and swearing as were some parents and why can't people put there rubbish in the bin, with behaviour like this no wonder the Brits get called yobs.overall a holiday is what you make it but we will not be returning.

Arrived on the 28th December, Reception staff for friendly no problems with check in although we had to wait an hour until our room was ready, this wasn't a problem for us as we headed for the bar and had a bite to eat.

Rooms were very spacious, clean and beds were comfy - only tip I can think of is maybe they could put hairdryers in

Food wasn't excellent but we didn't starve always found something to eat and liked the fact that they did a childrens section, my little boy loved the snack bar through the day and of course the ice cream

Bar staff were pleasant, only problem was the two drink limit as we were a party of three and had to keep getting back up but not a major issue

Entertainment was brilliant they do a childrens disco and games 8pm until 9pm then bingo and music quizzes before the main entertainment show at 10pm the reps work super hard and are very enthusiastic, always happy and chatty! Special mention for Dan who we found hilarious!!

Pools are lovely, the heated one is the one everyone went for with it obviously being December, tiles could do with fixing as it could be quite dangerous!

Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, booking to go back again - close to lots of shops, bars and restaurants, great for my son who is two and very friendly resort.

Avoid the French and Germans like the plague - they were extremely rude!!
