“Could be better”
Reviewed January 12, 2014

We stayed here for Xmas and new yr,I found all the staff to be pleasant and polite the rooms are spacious and had sheet and towel changes regular,it's not rocket science if they need changing leave them on the bathroom floor.the food was not the best we have had for a 3* but we didn't starve some of the meat was undercooked and the chips were hard every time and not much of a selection for kids.we didn't find that only having two drinks at a time a problem and if you were in the bar before 9.pm you got glasses and then we kept them all night.danielle the TC Rep was lovely and very helpfull, the main thing is the entertainment was not for us,kids disco, quiz, bingo reps trying to sing and act although you can't knock their enthusiasm the same every night gets boring, this hotel needs more than one professional entertainment a week.overall it's SOME parents that let this hotel down one night there was a fight in the bar with kids and parents all over a game of pool,it was the reps night off but the barmen soon broke it up,also kids were fighting during the day and swearing as were some parents and why can't people put there rubbish in the bin, with behaviour like this no wonder the Brits get called yobs.overall a holiday is what you make it but we will not be returning.

Dear guest,

Firstly we would like to thank you for choosing our establishment to spend your holidays.
I would like to say that we are really sorry if your stay in Oasis Village did not covered your expectations.

Regarding to your comments, in our restaurant buffet, there are, in daily basis, different choices available (we follow a fortnightly menu).
Our cuisine is international but focused, mainly, to Mediterranean food.
It is our aim to provide our customers the best experience during their holidays. In order to improve our catering services, a well-known Executive Chef has started working with us from the end of December (please bear in mind that we need sometime to do the changes...)

We sympathize with you, but feel that maybe if you had reported to us your feelings during your stay, we could have made your holidays more enjoyable.

In any case, we appreciate you comments and, undoubtedly, we will take them into consideration.

Hoping to see you again at Oasis Village

Best regards!

Arrived on the 28th December, Reception staff for friendly no problems with check in although we had to wait an hour until our room was ready, this wasn't a problem for us as we headed for the bar and had a bite to eat.

Rooms were very spacious, clean and beds were comfy - only tip I can think of is maybe they could put hairdryers in

Food wasn't excellent but we didn't starve always found something to eat and liked the fact that they did a childrens section, my little boy loved the snack bar through the day and of course the ice cream

Bar staff were pleasant, only problem was the two drink limit as we were a party of three and had to keep getting back up but not a major issue

Entertainment was brilliant they do a childrens disco and games 8pm until 9pm then bingo and music quizzes before the main entertainment show at 10pm the reps work super hard and are very enthusiastic, always happy and chatty! Special mention for Dan who we found hilarious!!

Pools are lovely, the heated one is the one everyone went for with it obviously being December, tiles could do with fixing as it could be quite dangerous!

Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, booking to go back again - close to lots of shops, bars and restaurants, great for my son who is two and very friendly resort.

Avoid the French and Germans like the plague - they were extremely rude!!

We stayed for a week here. The staff on reception were great I had evan faxed hotel for a low level room near everthing and as soon as I checked in it was confirmed that they had received it and had the room I requested.
The rooms are big but basic but must say the mattresses on bed really comfy.though the lounge furniture could do with a revamp as was falling apart.bathroom big and towels changed a couple of times a week as were bed sheets.
The food is ok you wont go hungry.hit and miss on the breakfast no fried eggs one day or bacon and the sausages either 2 pale or overcooked. But at least its a cooked breakfast to start the day.
The rep Danielle one of the best we have come across again helpfull and friendly and professional.
The entertainment team boy did the work hard all day.we had no children with us but we were asked to join in quizes and stuff that was going on.The evening entertainment was ok for kids but apart from the team singing most nights could do with more professional singers for the adults.
Overall we enjoyed our week.would we stay there again maybe??

We were a bit concerned as we don't generally stay in 3* but the price difference meant we could plan to eat out in evening and still save over £500!
The complex is very clean & the rooms are spacious & again very clean. Only minor complaint as has been mentioned before is bed sheets don't appear to fit very well!
Breakfast was more than adequate and lunch was fine too. We didn't eat in at all for evening meals as there were too many nice restaurants in corralejo but the food looked a good standard for a 3*.
The evening entertainment was not to our taste but you couldn't fault the Thomas Cook team for effort & it was quite nice to have some noise/atmosphere round the pool during the day.
We didn't experience any issues with queuing for the bar during the day. If you are polite to the bar staff they are more than pleasant to you and after 4 days the bar man had our drinks poured before we even got to the bar! If you are rude to them they will be rude back & some guests should remember this!
Overall, a very pleasant surprise & good value for money.

I have been to this hotel twice and currently booking for later this year, We love this hotel, we are a young couple in our 20's and the welcome you get at this hotel is outstanding, even the spanish staff and locals are so welcoming. The Thomas Cook entertainment team are fantastic in their shows and pool activities, great for couples and families. They even include other guests that didn't book with thomas cook and treat everybody the same.

There is so much to see outside the hotel too, you are situated by a stretch of shops, markets, pubs, bars, restaurants and clubs, great if you like to go out and about. I recommend Flicks Bar and The Aberdeen Steak House situated at the end of the stretch.

Stayed 25 th dec to 1 st January.hotel was ok but has gone down hill from last year but I heard its under new management and it's not as good.the food wasn't up too much at tea time, breakfast and dinner ok.the man on reception was very rude,he was called marcel,I went to make a complaint that after being there 6 days,no towel change,no room cleaned,no beds changed,no toilet roll, this marcel tried to convince me room had been done when it clearly hadn't,he just shrugged his shoulders like he didn't understand- well if he didn't he shouldn't be on the desk the rude man.also my sons all inclusive band had come off while he was playing so he went to reception to be greeted with marcel,my son said his band had come off and his reply was my son had found this band on the floor and he had come in from outside,so then my son had to go through all our booking details for him to get his band replaced, why should a child have to do this.marcel is very rude and needs taking off the reception.reps worked hard but not as good as Elise,Michelle, and jase last year.rep Danielle was lovely.all the reply you get from manager is we are trying to improve,we have a new chef(who can't cook).please bring back the lady manager they had,you got wine when you won quiz, nothing this year, last year on New Year's Eve we all got blowers, party hats, party bags, nothing this year.all the cleaners are lazy.this management need to do something because this hotel has gone down hill.

Dear Guest,

First of all, I would like to say that we are really sorry if your stay in Oasis Village did not covered your expectations.

We are very sorry for the inconvenience caused with the reception desk staff, and can assure you that we have made it our priority to avoid this happening again in the future. May I inform you about it that the receptionist called Marcel is not working for us anymore.

Regarding to your comments about the food quality, in order to improve our catering services, a well-known Executive Chef has started working with us recently (from the middle of December). Please bear in mind that this is not instant, he needs a bit of time to change the mindset of the cooks.

In any case, we appreciate you comments and, undoubtedly, we will take them into consideration.
Hoping to see you again at Oasis Village to appreciate the improvements.

Kind regards,
