Great complex and location . One bed apartment massive . Slightly old decor but clean and fine . Pool great , restaurant excellent breakfast , lunches and only a couple of evening meals not great. Value for money and location to town. Thomas Cook crew famtastic, good family complex . Hotel staff excellent . It is three star so great at that level . Nice town with harbour traditional bars and restaurants . Small centre just across main road had free Spanish entertainment each night . Very flat , can hire bikes . Good holiday would return especially with kids .

stayed here from 30 october to 6 november 2013. clean & tidy hotel & friendly staff too. thomas cook entertainment team.......mollie, danny, nat & pete are fantastic entertainers for all ages! did not rate the food very highly as there was not a lot of choice, and a lot of the time it was only lukewarm, but we did not starve! size of the plastic cups is ridiculous, and you are only allowed 2 drinks at at time & the queue for the bar is ridiculous, especially as most nights there was only ever 1 bar person. in a quiet location, though the main strip is only a 10 minute walk away. Corralejo itself is a lovely place, and I would not hesitate to return, though I would probably choose another hotel.

Room Tip: ask for a pool view room. we stayed in 2102 & 2103....which were nice, but got no sun on the bal...

I last visited this place 4 year ago , and I can say it is my last time, what a shame because for a 3 star it was great for the money you could pay for a holiday, where do I start........
rooms... are clean and very basic but we only wanted to sleep in it, but sleep was impossible in what has to be the worst mattress we have ever had to lay on , the beds are a piece of wood..
pool area..... is large with plenty of beds and big pools and kept clean..
food.............really has got worse, there is always something to eat , but the hot food was poor quality, salads were good and lots of drinks....
position of oasis village.... I think its a good position and a 15 min walk to the harbour, good supermarket across the road, water park next door to the oasis ...
staff.......... really feel sorry for the staff and I can only say there is 10 staff at any one time, 1 pool attendant, 3 gardeners, 3 in restaurant, 1 reception, 1 on drinks counter , 1 at top bar...
towels and bedding changed regular...

Room Tip: don't think any room is as good as another to be honest, but for old people they would want to b...

Just back from a weeks stay at The Oasis Village with a 41/2 year old and would like to share. Got a good last minute deal, how ever- considering the poor food and the very basic facilities I would not recommend this hotel. Yes, the staff was helpful but there were not a lot of them around. Very warm hotel rooms w/o AC or even a fan (I've stayed at very basic guesthouses in India for example but they have all had a basic ceiling fan- but not here) Sleeping with the terrace door open every night was a must and there was of course a lot of people staying up late drinking and partying and that makes open doors very inconvenient! The entertainment provided by Thomas Cooks staff was perhaps a bit much for my taste, but the loud speaker system was appalling and made it unbearable.
Pool was great, but the very nasty habit of "claiming" a sun chair before one is even by the pool is a real drag and should be forbidden by the hotel in my opinion.

Food: Dining room hall that has zero ambiance and a noise level that made me think of grammar school with chairs loudly scraping the floor- not good!
The food was at best basic, lot's of frozen veggies or even canned?! and pre fab stuff. Processed meats, canned fruits and pretend juice.
We had some good stuff though: OK chicken legs, small salt cooked potatoes with good mojo sauce and a quite tasty local chick pea stew.
Pancakes in the mornings were freshly made and the bread and fresh salad, fresh tomato and fresh onion also good.
The cucumbers were good some days and others old and dry- Yuk.

Try the local restaurants down by the harbor and eat well!
The town Corralejo was lovely and the beach magnificent.

I'd go back to Fuertoventura but not to this hotel.

we stayed at this hotel from 9th - 23rd oct, i had read the negative reviews before we went and i was really worried. myself, my daughters 27 and 23 years old and 5 month baby had no major complaints about this hotel. everything was spotless, staff were very efficient and friendly. there could have been more choice from the restaraunt but we always managed to find something to eat. the pools had a lot of broken tiles which should have been fixed. the weather was fantastic and my granddaughter had no bother adapting to the heat but i do agree that air conditioning should be installed in rooms. we went to the oasis animal park which was amazing, we got to feed and pet giraffes, zebras, cow, goats, camel, elephant. the animal food was only one euro so was affordable to all. the restaraunt staff and entertainment staff worked long hours and were always really friendly. i would recommend this hotel for families looking for an affordable 3 star all inc holiday. good value for money and is just a short walk away from the town which is full of shops and bars.

Spent a week here in October 2013. Well what can I say ... I have never complained about a hotel/holiday in my life but feel I need to make an exception with regard to this hotel!! Complex looks amazing, reception staff were great and rooms (although basic) were kept clean and maid service was good and thats where it ends. Food was awful (and I am not a fussy eater by any means)!!! Didnt help that on arrival there were many pigeons feasting on the food in the outside snack bar in full view of the pool barman who did nothing to try and stop them or more importantly to close the snack bar down and stop people from taking food from there ... many young children still being allowed to take food from there oblivious to the fact that it was totally unhygienic. The attitude and demeanour of the pool and evening bar men was terrible - do they actually want a job there as they certainly do not seem to enjoy it!! Food in restaurant was mediocre and my son lived on pasta and baked beans the whole week. I know kids can be fussy eaters but I am not .... and still I lived on salads for the week due to the low standard of food on offer. I know this is not five star luxury but it definately is not 3 star either or anything like it. I read the reviews on this site before choosing the hotel and ignored the picky stupid little complaints as I am never one to usually complain. I will never stay at this hotel .. ever again .... the beautiful pictures of the palm trees and pool area mask the fact that this hotel could probably rate as a 1/2 star at the most.

we have just arrived home after a fantastic 7 nights in a clean spacious, quiet appartment. The staff were friendly, helpful, and hard working keeping all areas of the complex clean. The pool areas were constantly cleaned, although the sun loungers were bit out of date, but laying in the sun with a beer not to much of a problem !!!
I really can't understand previous critism about the food, I always found there to be plenty, from English breakfast, and cerials. Lunches, and Evening meals consisted of various, meats, and fish along with salad bars, washed down with beers, wines, and soft drinks. Entertainment was typically holiday camp style, but all the kids from what i was aware seamed to enjoy.
We would certainly strongly consider staying here again

Room Tip: We stayed away from the pool area, which was quiet, and away from the entertainment. but that is up...
