Stayed for a week in march to get some sun and heat. Weather was just right if you had a sheltered spot. Hotel was well equipped for sun beds and had good swimming pools but the water was a bit cold for comfort. Food in the restaurant was passable but if it was made in smaller amounts more reguarly then it would be at a decent temperature. There was entertainment day and night if you like that sort of thing but plenty of the local bars provided better. Staff in the hotel were very good and always had a pleasant manner. The hotel is half hour walk to centre of town and there is plenty shops on the way. The down side of this hotel is the beds and comfort of the rooms. The matress was like an ironing board and the sheets were too small. Wont be back but it was still a goog break away from UK

Room Tip: I dont think you can choose a room to order but due to the shape of the buildings few of them would...

We were changed from Dunas Caleta where we stayed last year, to Oasis Village as first place was full. It was a much more modern complex, very clean and well maintained but further out of resort so a good 10 minute walk. Rooms were very big, pool areas large and plenty of sunbeds. Evening entertainment was good and the team were excellent involving people but not pushy. The food was typical of all inclusives - very limited for evening meal so we chose to eat out as it's cheap and there's lots of great restaurants. Breakfast and lunch were fine, dining room nice and bright. I would stay here again as it was a great 3 star but it would be perfect if they just loved it down the road nearer to resort! Good weather for March but windy and cloudy, when the sun came out it was very hot.

Room Tip: Split into 4 main blocks, choose A or D nearer the pool or alternatively rooms starting with 1100 ar...

We (A party of 4 adults) have just returned from this hotel (9th-16th March 2013) and can safely say it was a holiday we will long remember, the staff (from reception to catering to bar) are ever so friendly (and personally I believe DON'T get tipped enough) , the rooms are big and always clean, the pool area is massive with more than enough sun beds, plenty to do, tan, exercise, tennis courts, football area, volleyball area, lots of activitys with the Thomas Cook entertainment team (who might I add made our stay very memorable,) The food was basic but plentyful and you would never go hungry, Its 2minutes from a big supermarket, not that you would need it, and 5-10minutes walk from main street with lots of shops, bars & restaurants, plus the beach, We ate out around 3 times just for something different, Waikiki bar on the beach was excellent and just to sit with a freezing cold beer while your feet are in sand is bliss. Overall brilliant for singles, couples, families of all ages. We would highly recommend this hotel & resort to anyone.

Room Tip: Rooms up by tennis courts will be quieter, but we found ours just overlooking the top pool great as...

We have just spent a week at the Oasis Village (Feb 16-23) and had a great time. The room was very basic but we only showered and slept in it. The food was ok, not fantastic but we found plenty to eat. There were plenty of sun beds round the pool and we didn't have to fight for one. There was plenty of seating in the entertainment bar on a night. The entertainment staff were doing something all day but we only joined in the football. The town is only a ten minute walk away and so is the beach. We had such a good week we have booked to go back next year for longer.

Room Tip: We had room 1115 which opened onto the pool and was not too far from the restaurant/bar etc. No sun...

we travelled here feb 2010 with 2 x families of 4,
Fab holiday from start to finish, the oasis village has been the best holiday experience we have had so far! just the layout of this hotel and the fact i felt my children were safe here as to get out of the hotel you have to go up the stairs thru the reception to get out.

The rooms are big, clean and spacious, just lovely and we requested pool views and thats what we got so we were very happy with that. We spent most of the time at the top pool as this was quieter than the other one and jst out from our rooms, the snack bar was nearer here too. this pool is colder than the bottom pool and it is salt water.

Food was good and had different theme nights :- Chinese, Mexican, Canarys and Indian nights there was a good choice for kids too (bonus when there fussy eaters)

the thomas cook entertainers were fantastic I even got on stage and done the cartoon heros dance!! lol overall this is a fantastic place to visit, we will be visiting again soon and WHEN we win the lotto would love to by a villa along the beach!

Just arrived back from Village six of us on a package holiday with Thomas Cook. Had a fabulous time. We were a bit dubious having read some reviews on trip advisor but we need not have worried. Rooms were spacious and clean. Staff were very friendly, food was really good we had a fussy eater with us and she could find something that she enjoyed every time. The entertainment team were excwllent. Annya,Alis,Steven and Jorden were very entertaining got involved with everyone and were great with the kids. James the rep was good , very knowledgable and mingled with us at night time. All in all I would recomend this Hotel to anyone.

Room Tip: Rooms in D block were nicely situated not far from pools and main building. We didn't get much s...
